Has anyone heard anything about the October Birthstone pet? I haven't seen anything about it.

Haven't heard yet, but since they have all been dogs so far it will probably be An Opal Retriever or some other dog.

It's my birthday, too! I hope it's not a dog, as I'm partial to cats (infinitely more entertaining!) but a dog would be fun, too.

Thanks for the great guesses! I'm surprised - the other birthstone pets had such great fanfare prior to their release, and the October pet has been almost top secret!

Well since they all are lab or spaniel like so far, and the August was as creative as the Peridot dog, I'd guess it's probably the Opal dog again...
