eStore gone OVERBOARD?!

I like the idea of the WebkinzeStore and I purchase from it often but It's gone too far. It seems like everything released in WebkinzWorld in the past few months have been eStore ONLY. What's up with that? Anyone feel the same way?

to me the estore has been in existence for over a year. they are just now bringing it up to speed in my opinion. in the beginning there were few items, mostly pets. now as popularity grows they are offering a larger selection.
but i too wish they would offer some rides in the wshop or as rares. and i hope the teaser about clothes is a whole revamping of wshop clothes. not estore or kinz style. they have added a lot of features to ww lately with weather, day & night, new themes. i hope they keep updating all the areas .

Yes, I think so too. I think the idea is fine, even good, because lots of people want online only. It's a great idea. However, i also think they need to add some w-shop stuff, exclusives,and real pets! So i think it's a good idea, but there needs to be new stuff added ot both.

I sometimes feel that way. But oh well. There will be something new for members who don't buy from the estore soon! Sometime this week! I can't wait!

I think so too. I also think that the new estore gangster outfit they released on webkinz newz as a "Preview" Is way overborard.

I know it's been posted before, but this seems like a good place to say it again: $12.50 for an eStore pet I can understand, but the prices on other virtual items is ridiculous. I think they would sell a lot more if the prices were cut in half.

That's the difference between someone spending, say, $50 at a dollar store (sure, it's only a dollar! I'll take that, too. It's only a dollar!...) and trying to justify $5.00 for CHAIR in the new room theme when it's only pixels! That's two gallons of milk, or a pack of bread and some lunch meat. Or five different REAL items at the dollar store.

I think Ganz missed the mark when they decided how much someone would pay for pixels on a computer screen.

I agree with you completely. It also really makes it seem ridiculas if you play other online games. My Mom and I both do and the online store items are so much cheaper it makes Ganz seem really super high. We have gotten charms and figurines from the estore with our extra points from our Deluxe accounts but have never purchased anything else because it seems really unreasonable for virtual items. I love all the things that they make for the e-store and would love to have any of it but just can't seem to justify it. The funny thing is.... I wouldn't even know what was at the e-store if I wasn't a member here. I always see the e-store items here and then I want them. I wouldn't care one way or the other if I knew nothing about them. lol! lol! lol! lol!

I do like that the e-store offers new items and pets, I do think that Ganz is trying to keep up better with WW as well..they have released new w-shop themes in the past months and added new badges, taglines, and weather for all members. It would be nice if they added some ride type items to the w-shop or rares...As for pets..Ganz is releasing lots more plushies than pixel ones per month...and I for one would rather they slow that down a bit...And, overall..it still comes down to a personal choice as to purchase or not. There are a lot of things n life I choose not to purchase..the same goes for the things I prefer to have. Hope you have a wonderful evening!!
