Deluxe Membership & E-Points Information (Update 04/16/10 858am KT)

Hey, can anybody give me any advice? I bought an annual Deluxe membership on 4/19/2009 and got an email on March 1, 2010 saying that I've just received all my gifts and stuff, so now I won't get an April bonus unless I renew. Is there a date that's more effective to renew? I can't figure out if I should renew on March 31, April 1, , April 19, or some other date. It may not be that complicated, but I'm confused! Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have the same question, is there a new special item for a new membership? Should I renew my account or buy a deluxe membership on my 2nd account so I can get another gold hat?

There's a new special item for the annual membership, a cart ride. You can find a picture of it on the home page (not the Forum, but the homepage) on Jan 1, 2010. I guess you should get the membership on the account you play the most on. I only have one account, so I'm not the best person to answer that part of your question.

I have several accounts but I'm fine with only having 1 deluxe just so I can get the cart ride. I thought I read somewhere that you only get 1 deluxe hat per account so then maybe I should do a different account instead of renewing just for the hat?

I have had a family Deluxe membership for almost a year. I just got the email reminding me that my family account is almost up. My expiration date is 4/9/2010.

My question is: Is there a grace period before the accounts are no longer active?

Before Deluxe there was a 30 day grace period in which to purchase another pet and activate it before you lost the ability to play.

Is it the same with Deluxe? I have a child that has a birthday coming up just after the expiration date and would like to get her started with Webkinz. I want her to be able to adopt the pet herself and I want to include her in our family membership, but I don't want to jeopardize the other accounts by waiting until her B-day to renew.

Help......anyone?......anyone?

mine expires april 2nd and i plan to renew april 3rd. that way i will get my april gift box and have no overlap in the account. you should still be able to play games, it will just make you get your april box later. if you renew in march it will give you another march box and of course expire in march next year. or you could renew april 1st and get your april box on time, then your date next year would be april 1st for renewal.

there is a new item for renewal, but i am not sure about the hat. if you want to be sure to get another hat, then use a different account. i will be renewing mine on april 3rd so then i will know for sure about the hat because i am renewing the same account. i did check my account because of the glitch last year i got 3 roller coasters, but only 1 gold hat!

the deluxe account will expire on april 9th for you. if you used the deluxe account to extend some accounts which would have needed to adopt a pet, they will expire when the deluxe option does. i hope i'm not confusing you. if one of the accounts included in the deluxe accounts would have expired without adopting another pet, then you need to have a pet on hand to adopt to renew the account before you can renew the deluxe family option.

you will not receive your box and points on april 1st because you have received the last one in march. by waiting till your child's birthday will only mean losing a few days of deluxe activities,etc. you will get your april box and points on whatever day you renew and your deluxe benefits will continue as usual.

IM SORRY IF IM REPEATING WHAT WAS ASKED BEFORE.............but ganz said my delux expires april 28th...... .......( i thought it was march 28th) and i am wondering if i have to wait to pay them until the 29th................. if i pay early what will the consequences be for me? anyone know........... this is so confusing actually.............. as usual, they have not made it very clear as to what to do when................... id very much appreciate any input here........... thank you so much!

you have already received your last box in march too. if you renew earlier, say april 1st, you will get your april box and points when you are used to getting them. the new membership will overlap til the 28th of the month, but it won't get you any extra boxes or activities.
if you wait until the 29th, you won't get your april gift box and points until then and then it will just continue as usual til next year. so it just depends on which you would prefer doing.

You got 12 boxes. First one in the first month of membership, thus no box in April til you renew. Mine is up the 10th of April I think, so I wont get an April box til I renew.
