Keep jumping when you run out of gas

Just wanted to share a tip from my son-- when you run out of time and gas in Webkinz Rally, if you hold the jump button, your car will continue to jump for a few more seconds. I tried it, and it actually does seem to get you farther than you would get if you just coast to a stop. My son has used it to get past the checkpoint several times when he's almost there, but time runs out.

Try it and let us know if it works for you.

That's the mind of a kid for you. He's thrilled that you added him to the guide, you made his day.

Has anyone else tried this yet? On our computer, we've found that we get 2-3 seconds of coasting time after the clock runs out. But we get 5-6 seconds of jumping time after the clock runs out. Still trying to figure out if that translates into a greater distance. It seems to, but we'd be interested in others observations.

I'm in the middle of de-trojan-ing my other computer.... have a nasty nasty one that buries itself. That and i'm taking care of the kiddos and got to wash LOADS of dishes by hand... ugh

I have been trying this and yes I seem to be noticing that I am getting further when I jump with no time.

Thanks for trying! We've done it with different drivers and on different computers, and jumping seems to get you a little farther than just coasting. Strange, but true!

Did you get your computer de-trojaned?

Still working on it.... AVG was a pain to uninstall to run the programs I need to clear it off my machine. Still in the works... anyways off to play it today to see if trophy has changed overnight... doubt it but I always check
