I beat the game! Photo of Finish Line!

After a couple days of playing Webkinz Rally, today I finally beat the game! I made it through the final finish line (which is white checkered, a little different from the other finish lines). It also showed my poodle the driver smiling. It held that screen for a couple of seconds and then I got the "I'm sorry we can't connect to Webkinz..." screen. Boo. I hit the "log out" button and then hit "no" so I could stay in WW. So far, I do not have a trophy in my dock. Hopefully this is just an error and eventually there will be a trophy for the game!

Some tips....

Just a reminder to make sure you are playing with your pet who is most advanced at the academy. The skills of one pet will not carry over to another pet, just like at the stadium. I play with my poodle who has 6 stars for jumping, 6 stars for top speed, 7 stars for handling. I choose the green or purple car available to me because of style points. I still need to get more style classes under my belt before I can choose the two top cars.

On the harder levels, I recommend focusing on the top of the screen where the stop sign things are going to be coming. Don't let your eyes get distracted by the grass!

Jumping is really important too. You can hit the space bar and an arrow key at the same time and kind of jump diagonally. I recommend this for the higher levels.

Congratulations on crossing the finish line. Jbone just posted that he didn't find a difference between pets who had done well in KA or a regular pet with no training. Maybe it's reflective of another game glitch. Have you tried driving a less trained driver?

I just tried a little experiment with Webkinz Rally...

I played with my fish who has no Academy training... and could not finish the game. In fact, he ran out of gas before level three, ending with around 2500 points. Then, I tried driving with the computer-given Hippo, named Tobey. Tobey did have a couple more stars than my poor Fish. Still, I could not complete the game and finished around 3500 points.

Personally, I can definitely tell the difference in speed and handling when I drive with my poodle who has six and seven stars across the board.

I'm sure if anyone can beat the game with a regular player with zero academy training, then it just means they are waaaayy better at the game then I am. I need the extra speed! I need the handling for when I'm dodging the stop signs! I also need the extra jumping ability!

I encourage everyone to do their own experiment, though. It's fun!

Updating the guide with this information, seems like it is once again a hit and miss issue. JBONE has been playing this awhile so I would think JBONE would be able to tell the difference between the two ( his stats are better then mine LOL ).... glitchy glitchy glitchy is all I have to say! Grats on beating it though, at least you can said you've done it!
