Pet of the Day

Hi folks,
Just visited My Page to see the pet of the day, and I see that GANZ has done it again. The pet of the day is a clownfish named Nemo, owned by MRF. 1 pet, since May 3, 2009.

Cute fish, congrats!

Checked their "stuff" had no pictures of rooms, no badges, no nothing. I have seen other posts here and absolutely agree that the Pet of the Day should be a pet that has some rooms set up, and other items on the page so visitors have something to look at. May be wrong, but just my thoughts.

Yea,I agree on that as well Its not fair to those people that really take time and effort to set up their MyPage.

Heh, that's terrible. Is it possible these people don't even know when they WIN potd?

OTOH, I'm not sure I'd want people to look at my page since, even though I customize it and try to keep it up to date, they list my pets wrong. It looks like ALL my pets are named cotton candy, and the actual cotton candy isn't anywhere to be found. (Until I manually change it. Then it looks okay until I log in the next day.)

i so agree with all of you.
i update my page every month, and check for pet of the day and what my friends did almost everyday if i can. i have 11 pets total, but 5 are not adopted. i have not been the pet of the day even once!!!!!! i think ganz should actually pick the pet of the day every day, like how they pick the POTM. don't you think?

The Pet of the Day is completely random, although there is a few bugs in it. Most of the winners have just opened their page up to the crowd, but done absolutely nothing to it. So, although it may not be fair, they still qualify for the award.

Yeah, but If you gave it to someone who acually knew they won it, then the value would go down. A Definate GANZ move. *Sighs* That is one cool trophy I will never get.

The pet of the day is random just like Elephantboy said. But it WOULD be nice if people who DESERVED it would win.....

That's not really fair. Other members put their hard work into their pages and for nothing? Still doesn't seem fair to me.

Hi,

On one of my accounts, my "MY PAGE" is locked up/glitched/a SERIOUS HEADACHE......

I can not CHANGE the pets on the front.....half the time, it shows the WRONG pet or MORPHS a few of them together.

It will have them in a BLACK BACKGROUND....which is not even an OPTION ......it will not let me access the various pages to CHANGE things.....

so....not to say this is WHY some of these people did NOT set up their pages, but....it could be.

Just a thought....

ps--my "MY PAGE" has been locked up for 7 months......just on one account.

ps---yeah I know, if I CALL ganz they MAY fix it....but, since it took so long for them to NOT fix so many OTHER glitches that I actually NEED in order to PLAY on webkinz....."MY PAGE" is not exactly a "high priority" glitch for me....compaired to some other ones.
