New Thank You note badge?

I tried to send a thank you note on my grandson's account and a new badge apppeared on the screen but it was just flashing and the message section was all r's or some other letter and I couldn't x out of it so I went to another page. Has anyone else tried writing a thank you note and gotten a new badge. I know I should have taken a picture of it but I'm not good at posting them anyway.

Okay, I just tried to send a thank you note from my granddaughter's account and the badge flashed on the screen for just a fraction of a second and was gone. It didn't stay on the screen like it did on my grandson's account this morning.

Did you use any stickers or anything extra in the thank you note. Because I believe I got a badge before but only for using three different types of stickers. Just curious.
