Default Why make Webkinz Jr.?

Why did they make it?
I mean, Webkinz Jr is ages 3-6, Webkinz is aged 3-12!
Its kinda silly!
Don't you agree?

I think they made Webkinz Jr. because sometimes webkinz pets aren't suggested for toddlers. They made it easy for little ones to play on webkinz JR. too. It's more toddler like.

Default Re: Why make Webkinz Jr.?

I'm an adult, and I find a lot of the games and everything on regular Webkinz to be pretty challenging, I can't imagine a little kid trying to play some of them. Plus, a lot of the Quizzy's stuff little kids can't do, and even all the reading involved in the site. I think Webkinz is just too difficult for a lot of little kids to sit and do by themselves. So I do think Webkinz Jr. is a good idea, but I also think a lot of kids will probably grow out of it very quickly.

Well, as the others said, webkinz may be a bit challenging for younger kids. Also, they are a business and it's another way to make money! LOL!!!!!

I think Webkinz Jr. is a little more kid friendly. Plus, younger kids put a lot of stuff in their mouth and with webkinz, they could swallow small pieces and features. Especially with Lil Kinz. I'm not saying that kids can't swallow pieces off of Webkinz Jr. but they're bigger and that might leave a smaller possibility.

that's a really good question. i have no idea. then they are like 27 dollars. and once u get a webkinz, u can't use your webkinz.com account to adopt the webkinz jr on with your normal webkinz. u have to use a totally different account name. it's like starting all over again!

Why does Ganz make Webkinz Jr., anyways? I guess that they want to make some extra money. Also, my little cousin plays with Webkinz Jr., and the reason why his parents bought it is because Webkinz wasn't reccomended for younger children. However, I do not think that the Webkinsz Jr. account is worth it, because most children will just play with the plushie, and generally not the account, like most younger kids do, so it will not be worth 27 bucks. Its a win-win situation, I guess.
