Webkinz Jr. is a rip-off

We bought a junior pet the minute they came out. Things partially worked back then. Over the past few weeks, we've logged in (when we COULD log in) and things have gotten worse. The daily care thing doesn't work. Now the Paws for Caring doesn't work either. The house map has appeared only once in the past ten logins. I can't even feed my pet or put him to bed. Things stick and hang and half work. Now, they're asking me for more money to go deluxe??? Will things work if I pay???? Forget it! This site is going the way of Mush-a-bellies. It's not long for this world. My daughter has three junior pets now and the site doesn't give her ten minutes of play a week. I'm so mad I could spit.

We're sticking with regular webkinz world and maybe going on with Littlest Pet Shop.

I don't have Webkinz Jr., but it sure sounds terrible!

It's still very new and things are still being added to the site. Ganz may have jumped the gun a little and released it before it was completely ready, but I think it's getting better all the time. I wasn't around when Webknz first started, but I can't imagine it was problem free then just like it isn't now.

That is terrible! I'm sorry you have had so much trouble, have you spoken to other people with the jr accounts? Is this common? What is littlest pet shop?

I agree we have had SO many problems over the past six months with Webkinz Jr. Everytime I talk to customer service they basically blow me off and tell me they are working on it. I really think they need to give everyone who has been there testers a few extra months for FREE for everything our kids have had to put up with. My dd really wants another one, but until they fix some of the issues we are having I am not so sure about that.

Guys, not everything is perfect. I totally agree with AnthonysMommy and really if you don't like it then don't get on it anymore. But some people do like it. And you are discouraging those people that want to get one beacause I'm 100 and 1% sure that you're making it sound about 10 times worse than it really is. And that is my opinoin.

I am on the fence about the Jr and it is good to have some feedback from people who are actually member's of it. I think things also factor in like computer speed too. We have two different computers and both handle Webkinz differently.

Personally,I disagree.I like the site.Sure,there may be some glitches,but no site is perfect. I think the site is good for young children.If you don't like them,simply don't buy them.Dont complain(:

I haven't logged in with my purple monkey, Abstract (don't ask where I got the name) but I should. If what you say is true (it's going the way Webkinz is going, lots of glitches) I won't log on much anymore. At least, I won't until this stuff stops.
