Updates! Ok, Ganz put the PSI in my daughter's account with the blue puppy - so that's great. I think it bothered me more than it did my daughter. BUT - she is regularly asking for it and I do think some of the learning drills like with ABCs & 123s are valuable. The cost is a bit steep - but I think the design is such that you're really not likely to collect them like you do the Webkinz - since there is no trading and a very different Wshop dynamic. They must figure this will be the only pet we will ever buy. I am not as frustrated now since they both will play - the games are a lot more doable for my youngest.
I bought a zum buddy - see my post in the "somebody help" area if you want to hear about them!

That's great that your kids got their item back! My opinion on Webkinz Jr. is that if I'm going to shell out that much money, I should get more. As you said, the exercises in letters and numbers are pretty useful, but I wish there was more. I understand that W. Jr. is fairly new and will likely be developed, but I doubt it will ever be as advanced as the original.

My little girl loves it, too. As a parent, I don't think it's boring for its target audience, but certainly anyone old enough to type on a forum like this would be too old to get much out of it.
