I watched her play one day and even tried it for myself. She played for about 5mins and logged into WW. She does like the plushie. She even admitted WJr is [edited -- please do not use punctuation to bypass the filters. ~MissGnomie]

I also have only one computer, but I figure if I can get the PSI for one child's pet, then the other one should work as well - at least from a technical requirement standpoint.
I did try and try the redecorate button in the kitchen, but the voice kept saying we have nothing to redecorate with.
Since I see some others have had problems with the blue puppy, I guess its just a glitch!
oh well!
Good news though, my age removed likes the science center in the school!
I also think that possibly WJr would be better for kids who have never done WW before (or Nick Jr.)
The only problem there is I don't know how intuitive some of it is - but I'm not a designer and its so very easy to be critical!

fyi - Ganz said there is a problem with the blue puppy psi (a sink) they are looking into it - I'll let you know if it ever shows up! | | | 10-29-2009, 06:49 PM | #14 | Trade With Me I'm Gifted Join Date: Oct 2008 Posts: 2,995 | Re: First day on WJr. - ugh ugh....... that doesn't sound to fun hopefully you get the psi back __________________ whatever happens in life is how it was meant to be-anonymous

We registered it from the oldest grandchild's laptop which is faster than my old PC. After struggling to keep her interested for a half hour of slow motion activities, she told me "I don't like this. It is too slow." I have never been able to get her back on it. We are back to grandma assisted WW. | | | 11-02-2009, 01:47 PM | #16 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 13 | Re: First day on WJr. - ugh whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?????? wj is for 6 yr olds! | | | 11-02-2009, 02:03 PM | #17 | Webkinz :) Join Date: May 2009 Posts: 177 | Re: First day on WJr. - ugh Originally Posted by grannykat43 The youngest of my grandchildren, a preschooler, usually sits on my lap to play WW, but I thought if I got her the WJr she could do it herself. I was afraid that would happen if I bought my daughter one so decided against it, even though they are adorable & soft. Even though she can only read a handful of the words, she has figured out where the things in WW are that she and her like to play and can navigate through it pretty good. I usually log onto her account once in a while in the evening before playing my own to make sure she's done her gardening etc. I think Ganz had a good idea with WWjr... they just didn't realize how technically savvie today's little ones are! __________________ Mmmm.... I am going to upgrade the kids' computer, though. The computer itself is ancient and slow (only about 1.5 GHz), with no real graphics capability and drops its internet connection more often than the others in the house. __________________ Oddmeister

You would think that eveything would be easy to use and understand but at the same time fun for younger ones...!! __________________ I LOVE ELEPHANTS!!! | | | 11-02-2009, 08:38 PM | #20 | Never had Crabcakes Webkinz :) Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 3,865 | Re: First day on WJr. - ugh How upsetting! good gracious. I'm not a Webkinz Jr. Member just cause it's a younger thing, but if I had webkinz for the first time and that happened, I would be very upset. Although I still was because I had forgotten my username right after making my account.....but that's a totally different story. I hope your items are returned and it starts going a little quicker. Good luck! __________________ CrabCake's house thread!
