i saw this ad for webkinz jr in the code shop. it looks like an ant. do you think they will make one? or is it something like a bear wearing a hat and i'm losing my mind? lol

Yep, You are correct.  It's an ant. HeHeHe - You're not losing your mind -- Good Eye. He is actually the star of one of the games in Webkinz Jr. He stars in Brant's Dirt Path Driving game where you collect tools while driving a truck of your choice (you get to choose between 3) to help him complete his sand castle.
It's really cute and helps my preschool age DS learn how to move the mouse back and forth. When you're so use to using a mouse, you don't think that how much you have to coordinate to use it. |  | |

You are correct it is an ant. He is Brant one of the town's characters, from a construction site game about finding tools that have been dropped.
