Hello, my name is Warren and I am going to help you all get your very own Bamboo Break Trophy! Bamboo Break (BB) is a game very similar to the very famous game: Tetris. While there are some differences, a good Tetris background is very helpful while playing BB because it is still the same idea.

1. Blocks of assorted shapes will fall down from the top of the screen. Your job is to move and rotate the blocks so that they form full rows. When a full row is completed, it will be removed and you will be one step closer towards the next level. Once you complete a level, you will go on to the next level, where you will be required to clear more rows and/or the blocks will come down faster.

2. You can either use the number pad or arrow keys to control the falling blocks. I usually use the arrows but an advantage to using the number pad is that you can choose which way to rotate the blocks, saving time (a real help in the later levels when you don't get much time to react). Using the controls you can move the block left or right, rotate the block, and the hard drop function. This will bring the block down to the bottom. There is also the hold button, this too is very helpful.

3. Holes are your worst enemies!!! When you get a hole, it makes that row impossible to clear until everything above it is removed. If you are forced to make a hole, be sure to putas little as possible above it. If you have a space that has not become a hole yet, and has empty spaces to the left or right, you can fill in the space. When a piece reaches the bottom, it is not quit set yet so you have a small amount of time to rotate or move it. If there is a piece that does not have a good place, minimize the damage and make a space, not a hole.

4. On the left hand column, there is a list of the upcoming blocks. Use this to your addvantage. Make sure that the next block will have a space before setting the block that you currently have. Do your best to look ahead and make sure the next block has a place to go. This will minimizehe amount of holes you get and is a huge advantage in higher levels.

5. Unlike in normal Tetris, there are special challenges in BB. The challenges are to clear three rows at once, clear four rows at once, clear five rows, and clear six rows. This must be done in the amount of time given, which is usually around 25 seconds. The reward for completing these challenges are bonus chips, extra points, clears lines, or reduces the amount of lines you need for the next level.

6. Like many games in WW, BB has a trophy you can earn. To get the trophy, you must complete all twelve levels. IT IS RANDOM IF YOU GET A TROPHY. Just becuse you finished the game does not mean you will get the trophy. Geting more bonus chips from the challenges will increase the chance of getting the trophy at the end of the game. You can only have one trophy per account and they can not be traded or KinzPosted.

7. Like all games, the key is practice. Train your eyes to know how each piece can rotate and how they will fit in with other pieces. Be sure to look ahead at the coming pieces. Also, when you are good enough to beat the game, do not do the challenges after level 9 or 10. Just concentrate on clearing rows, unless you are super amazing.

8. Everybody, feel free to post on this thread telling about when you got the trophy, what your high score is, any tips/hints, sad stories about how you finished the game with 100 bonus chips but did not get the trophy,questions, comments, concerns, etc, etc. Also, please rate my article, I really want to know how I am doing! Excellente! Thanks for all the tips! I have gotten 16 bonus chips, and got to level 11, and I have 4 more rows to clear when I lost. Oh well, its back to the drawing board for me! I guess I shouldn't have taken a sip of iced tea while I played, or I wouldn't have had that gap. Ugh. I am still so mad I lost. Hmm, I've never won this trophy.

Does anyone have a pic of their BB trophy? If so, I'd like to see it! If its anything like Japanese or Chinese, it will have symbols at the bottom of it. LOL. I doubt the trophy has that, but so what?

Dang, that really stinks when you get that close, especially with that many bonus chips. I don't know how to put up pictures of items but you can see a picture using the following link. It should be somewhere in there.
