Does that sound about right? What exactly does the upgraded oven do. I can't figure out what they are trying to say.
If you accidently hit the wrong topping, what do you do?
Thanks. __________________ | | | 03-09-2009, 12:29 AM | #2 | Gift Trainee Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 193 | Re: Questions The upgraded oven cooks the pizzas faster, the upgraded topping board tops them faster, and the upgraded dough maker makes the dough faster. I find them all very handy, but the one I always buy first is the upgraded topping board. I prefer to get all my machines upgraded first before I buy more machines.
If you accidentally hit the wrong topping, you have time to undo the command buy hitting the space bar right away before she starts topping the pizza. However, once she starts topping the pizza there is nothing you can do about it. | | | 03-09-2009, 02:55 AM | #3 | Sallz Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,090 | Re: Questions Originally Posted by ladyoflight The upgraded oven cooks the pizzas faster, the upgraded topping board tops them faster, and the upgraded dough maker makes the dough faster. Thanks for the reminder about the space bar and Berry: I have never used it myself, but it's good to remind others that the option exists.
Any number of combinations of upgrades works in this game, so what you feel comfortable with is good. I agree that upgrading what you have at the start is the best route.

Thanks. Dear Stephsmom,
I would just start playing the game in the arcade to get the feel of it. I upgrade the shoes, then the dough maker, then wait a turn, then upgrade the oven and then the cutting board. Then I upgrade the shoes, buy a new cutting board and a dough maker (if I haven't made any mistakes), and then upgrade the cutting board, and then buy a new oven... But a number of permutations work, which is one of the good aspects of the game.
The upgraded oven cooks the pizzas faster; the upgrade dough maker makes the dough faster; the upgraded cutting board tops the pizzas faster; the upgraded shoes makes Berry run faster.
As an earlier poster pointed out, you can stop Berry by hitting the space bar--but only to a certain point. Once she begins to top the pizza, you can't stop her.
Hope this helps!

I always get both shoes first then upgrade the dough maker. So you think it is better to update the equipment first and then the shoes?
I find it a fascinating game, even though I can't get off level 5 LOL. I forget myself and mess up one time and that's it. It is like you can't mess up much or forget it.
Also, what does the pizza clock in the background have anything to do with the game?
Thanks so much. Have fun making pizzas. I bet you guys are a whiz at it. __________________ | | | 03-11-2009, 02:43 PM | #5 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 1,215 | Re: Questions hi stephsmom, the upgrade schedule can vary depending on what works best for you, here is mine if you want to try it
Level 2 – save
Level 3 – buy pizza maker
Level 4 – upgrade shoes
Level 5 – buy topper
Level 6 – save
Level 7 – buy oven
Level 8 – upgrade topper & buy pizza maker
Level 9 – buy topper
Level 10 - upgrade oven and shoes
Level 11 - upgrade topper & pizza maker
Level 12 – upgrade topper & pizza maker (two pizza maker upgrades if you have played a perfect game)
Level 13 – upgrade oven
(and pizza maker if needed) __________________ Jack and Jill | | | 03-13-2009, 01:31 AM | #6 | Sallz Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,090 | Re: Questions Originally Posted by stephsmom98 Oh yes, very helpful; thanks so very much. Janna gave you a good way to upgrade too; actually, you can take several different paths to upgrading and still win each level. I do the shoes and the doughmaker and then wait and then upgrade the oven and the cutting board and then the shoes again before adding new equipment.
Reveal enough orders so that you keep the doughmaker going, but put your finger on the screen next to the pizza you are making, if that helps you keep track!
The clock tells you how long the day lasts--it starts in the am and ends about 5:30 pm.
At the earlier levels, you can make a wrong pizza and still win, though it may slow you down on getting new equipment because you have lost tips.
When you make a wrong pizza, don't panic: throw it out and make the right one as soon as you can. One of the important parts of this game is just to keep going steadily.
Anyway, I hope this helps!

To me, the most important thing to upgrade is the topping board and then the oven. I often wait to buy new equipment until I can also afford to upgrade it at the same time because I find it confusing to have some equipment upgaded and some not. | | | 03-14-2009, 02:41 AM | #8 | Sallz Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,090 | Re: Questions Originally Posted by ladyoflight Well, I've now made it to level 15, (hurray! ) and I seem to have a different order of upgrades than most people. congratulations on making it to level 15! You are absolutely right that you can do a number of different upgrades and still pass levels.
I posted some comments on your earlier post (I think it was on the guide thread) to help you through levels 15 and 16. They are doable!
