New Year's Resolution about Pizza Palace

It's nice to see I'm not the only one who's become ridiculousy addicted to this game. I've become so obsessed with passing level 17 I began searching sites like this for tips which I've never done before. After I found the thread with the pizza order for level 17 I thought I'd eventually be able to get to 18 but today I think I have to stop the obession. I just played a game and my score was just over 80,000. At the end of the game I got a message that said

"the score you acheived is greater than the maximum reasonable score for this game. Your score will not be submitted and your Kinzcash will not be awarded."

so after playing for 45 min not only did I not get to level 18 but I also didn't get any KC!!! It would have be 457KC
I think it's time to be done with this game until they do something to fix it- and as a warning to anyone else- stop your game when your score hits 79,000

Dear jmsmom,

someone else posted that they had managed to pass Level 17 elsewhere here on the PP threads and got the same message. I am so sorry that the reward for making it through Level 17 was that discouraging message: I've gotten in on the old Booger Gets an A, and it made me feel like Ganz was telling me that I was cheating, which I wasn't. But I stopped playing that game, just like I've stopped playing Pizza Palace as a result, which is a shame because Booger Gets an A was really improving my adding!

It's really sad that Ganz created great games to which some of us got quite addicted but that we can't finish and are made to feel that we are cheating the system when we aren't. I sometimes think that Ganz's computer programmers are more intent on proving how smart they are rather than in thinking about their real job, which is how to ensure that people have fun on the website. Any teacher knows that you can write an exam to make a whole class fail, but that doesn't prove you have "standards": it only that you are not doing your job.

And what's the big deal: we aren't playing for real money but for KC. Why don't they just let people finish the game and be eligible for a random trophy like in Bamboo Break and other games?

Anyway, congratulations on finishing Level 17!

I'm not one to be rude but the common thread between the people I have seen saying they beat level 17 and scored over 80,000 is no proof (screen capture) and they are newly created accounts here, I have the feeling they aren't being truthful

I'd love to see someone beat level 17, but I won't believe it until I see it

Just to be clear- I did not say that I beat level 17. I was trying to finish level 17 when I scored 80,000. I was only posting the info so that those who are trying to finish the game don't waste their time (without reward) the way I did. and I'm not computer savy enough to be able to copy the screen for proof- if you don't believe the message I received feel free to score 80,000 yourself so you can get the same message.

I wasn't talking about you, I read your post and saw that you were very close to beating level 17 like many of us, my own highest score wasn't too far off 80,000 so I definitely believe that is possible

Beating level 17 is what I don't believe is possible

My mistake--I assumed that, since jmsmom exceeded my high score (for which I only needed 5 KC more to get to Level 1, she had finished Level 17. I must have lost tips somewhere along the line.... Thanks to Janna 479 and jmsmom for setting me straight!

I am still boycotting Pizza Palace too, though I'm still not a bamboo master like Janna 479 and still haven't gotten down one of the Polar Plunge slopes....
