Level 18?

Has anyone made it through level 17? I can get all the pizzas made and served, but I can't earn enough tips to make it to level 18. The order of the pizzas for level 17 in the guide is correct, but the customers get unhappy really, really fast!

I can't get past it either...same thing.. I can even get all the pizzas made and served without anyone getting *huffing* angry, but I am only getting 2-10 tips after the first 6 people...and I seriously cannot figure out how to make everything move quicker...anyone???????

You're probably already doing this, but I just make sure I have 3 dough makers and they are all upgraded. Then I dedicate each dough maker to making only one kind of pizza. i.e. the first dough maker is for quarters, the second is for halves, and the third is for fulls. If you know how many of each kind of pizza you need for this round from a guide, then put the doughmaker for the pizzas you need the most of closest to the toppers. For example, if your customers will be ordering mainly half pizzas, than that doughmaker should be up front since you will be using it more often.

After Leve12, I changed my strategy a little. I still try to go in order. But, if an order for a plain or one-item pizza comes up and I can just put that in the oven real quick off the doughmaker, I go for it. At the higher levels, you can usually get the pizzas done for the customers. The thing that's going to make your goal is the tips. And usually, your tips start going down near the end of the line. So, if a customer near the end of the line wants a plain or one topping and you can get it to him quick you may be able to squeeze that extra $25 or $10 tip from them that you need to make your goal!! Keep trying!

I don't dedicate dough makers to the size of pizzas because it's not necessary at the earlier levels, so I'm not sure why you suggest this: have you made it through level 17 by doing so? The first three pizzas are a whole, a half, and a half; as I remember (but wow! it goes by fast!), there are only 3 or 4 quarter pizzas in the round.

I tried to shift the pizzas around today to keep the ovens full, but that didn't work, maybe because I kept getting confused...

I sometimes wonder about the Ganz programmers: I am an adult (like many others on Webkinz), and one would assume that we might do better than at least some of the children, so why make the games so difficult that adults (and most children) can't do them? It's just stupid: it's like the programmers keep trying to outwit the adults instead of ensuring that EVERYONE has fun.

I can't even dream of reaching level 17!! I have difficulty getting past level 13. Although, my difficulty could be that I play at work and I sometimes have to leave in the middle of the game lol.

I can't pass it either and I would say I've been playing up to Level 17 for about 10 days now. I used to think 15 was impossible and then about a week later all of a sudden something clicked for me and I got it done. But I do think that maybe 17 is just one of those impossible levels. I have experienced that with other games that I grew to really like, like Color Storm, which was my first really favorite game. That game just gets completely impossible once you get further along. I can understand having a game get more difficult, but I do think it's good for a game to have an attainable finish. As of right now it looks like there is no way to finish the game. It's a shame!! After you spend 45 minutes playing the game, you want to feel like you can actually finish & win!

Wow level 17 is amazing, I just can't seem to get past 13, I can get everyone served but just a little shy of making enough tips ugh! Congrats on making it to 17, wish I had some tips to help you get to 18.

Level 13 is a hard level, but you will find your rhythm and work through the orders systematically. I've described it elsewhere in one of the threads--I do the first two pizzas and then do lots of three pizzas--and the only orders that are exposed are the ones I've made and the ones I'm making. (Put your finger up on the screen if it helps to keep track of where you are.)
Level 14 isn't too bad if you start making the pizzas (1-2-1) before you take the first three orders.
Level 15 is harder--I have a pattern, but occasionally I still get confused with the toppings... You do have to memorize the order, and I make the last whole pizza (3 toppings) early because there's also a 1/4 pizza that has 3 toppings, and it speeds things up to make two pizzas the same. The order of the pizzas is in the guide if you haven't read it.
Level 16 was a shocker the first time (3 1/4 plain pizzas) and then you get no orders between 10 and 4:30, but, if you haven't used the time between 10 and 4:30 to make 7 whole pizzas with three toppings (followed by 3 1/2 pizzas with two toppings after the other patrons leave), you can't finish the level... If you know what's going to happen, it's actually quite easy.

But I still am coming out every day in the hopes that someone really has made it through Level 17 and can give me some tips (information-wise, obviously).

I have never made it to Level 17. I only suggested the dedicated dough makers because they really help me get through Levels 14 and 15. They just help me because I can focus on toppings and not which size pizza I should make. AND THANKS FOR THE WARNING about Level 16!! I haven't made it to Level 16 yet, but I'm within $20-$30 in funds on Level 15. I wrote down everything you said about Level 16 and if I ever do make it, I'll be really glad I know what to expect. Let us know if you pass Level 17 and how you do it.

(And I agree with you about the games. Though I'm glad that they make some games that are more challenging for us adults, sometimes they just make them WAY too hard!) Good Luck!
