I made it to Level 17 for the first time today - didn't even come CLOSE to passing, I think I was short $168. That level is HARD! The customers get mad before you can even take their order! Kudos to anyone who can pass it! | | | 02-03-2009, 03:48 PM | #12 | webelo3 Gift Guru Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 4,732 | Re: level 17 hints or help??? I think this is just a rigged game that you can't finish, and I no longer think that Ganz will fix the game. Also, there is a post on one of the first two or three threads in this forum that expresses the concern that Ganz will "fix" PP the way they "fixed" Smoothie Moves (and, I would add, Booger Gets and A) by making them so hard that no one (let alone children) can get very far. I don't understand this reaction from Ganz: all Ganz has to do is establish an end to these games and provide random trophies. Instead, we have this vindictive "we can create a game you can't finish" routine. What do they want--that we bow down and worship them as some sort capitalist computer gods that can create an unfair game we can't finish? And why does Bamboo Break, but not PP, have a trophy with a difficult ending? Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant and, more important, thanks for your excellent guide to PP! :ccat: and a floral fox SallyAnne,
I don't blame you for ranting. I am now in your camp -- able to make it to level 17, but frustrated with my inability to advance from there. I have edited my guide to reflect the collective wisdom of you and others who have advanced to level 17 of the game. One thing I have figured out, though, is that the game indeed is programmed for 20 levels. I have talked to some of the WI computer whizzes who are able to read the computer code for the game (don't ask me how). It's unclear whether there is a trophy (I doubt it). But there are 20 levels.

I have used guides and help from Kodiak and Sally Anne, but any others who are also battling Level 17 have my respect. I am currently struggling with Level 15. I've beaten it two times, but I always screw up the half pizzas and get behind.
I just wanted to let you guys know I appreciate your help AND I am really sad about what you are telling us about Pizza Palace. It is one of my favorite games and I can't believe Ganz has set up a game with 20 Levels and it won't award money to people who make it through 17 of them!!! I am also baffled as to why they do this. I totally agree with Sally Anne's rant. Webkinz World is supposed to be a fun place - not some frustrating, money stealing experience in never-ending games! | | | 02-08-2009, 02:34 PM | #14 | Sallz Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,091 | Re: level 17 hints or help??? Kodiak Dear Kodiak, I have been a bit distracted from the Pizza Palace thread because I have been a gift trainee, but I am glad to hear that you have altered your guide to reflect the unfortunate reality. I'm sorry, though, that you too have joined the ranks of incredibly frustrated PP players! Somewhere here I have several pages of notes of the variations I tried, mostly to keep the ovens completely full by switching around the order of pizzas and to keep (or to try to keep) the customers ordering the more expensive pizzas happy. I never posted the material since I was never successful--and, if it takes you over 80,000 KC, you lose the game anyway... It's good to know that the game is programmed for twenty levels, but, if no one can get through the level or loses because s/he earns too much money, it might as well only have 17 levels, don't you think?! It appears that Hooli has made it to level 18. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke incapable of repetition. Only time will tell. | | | 02-13-2009, 07:57 PM | #16 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 32 | Re: level 17 hints or help??? I cannot finish level 17 either and it is very frustrating? Why create a level that, it seems, is impossible to beat. | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
