Red face I can't beat level 9!

Every time, I get to Level 9 but no farther. After Level 8, I have two dough makers, two toppers, two ovens and the best shoes, and no matter which thing I buy to try to beat level 9, I never quite get there. Advice? Thanks!

I buy the equipment in a different order than you do: I upgrade the shoes (2), I upgrade the dough maker (3), I do nothing (4), I upgrade the oven (5), I upgrade the cutting board (6), I upgrade the shoes again (7), and I buy a second cutting board and a second dough maker (. So I have one upgraded oven, one upgraded cutting board, and one upgraded dough maker and one cutting board and one dough maker that are not upgraded (as well as twice upgraded shoes). You want to use the upgraded equipment for the bigger pizzas and the pizzas with more toppings since the upgraded equipment is faster. You really don't need the second oven at this point: the topped pizzas sit on the cutting boards while the oven is full, but I always get full tips.

The overall order of the pizzas are 1-2-4-4-2-1-1-2-4-4-4

The first three pizzas are a whole pizza with three toppings, a half with two toppings, and a quarter with one topping. I put the whole pizza on the upgraded cutting board and start topping it; when the half pizza is ready I put it on the regular cutting board (which is slower), so the whole pizza gets topped before the half pizza is done. When the whole goes in the oven, I prepare the quarter pizza, which has only one topping.

Then there are two more pizzas (a quarter and a half that both need to be topped), but those aren't a problem since the others are cooking.

As I remember, the tricky part concerns the next three pizzas: first you have two full pizzas (and the dough takes a while to make), so you want to be sure that the dough is being made while you are topping the previous two pizzas. (If you forget and see the first whole pizza with one topping in a customer's order, push the button for the second whole pizza at that point). Also, when the first whole pizza comes out of the dough maker, be sure to push the button for the half pizza that follows the two whole pizzas because it has three toppings, which get put on while you cook the first whole pizza (which has one topping) and then the second whole pizza (which is plain).

The rest of the pizzas are all 1/4 pizzas with two toppings, and they can get a little tricky because, as I remember, sometimes they are the same, but usually two pizzas have the same two toppings but the third has a different two toppings. After this round, I upgrade the second cutting board.

It really helps to know the order AND to know which pizzas get three toppings because you don't even have to see the order to start topping a pizza with three toppings. You have to see the orders for 1 and 2 toppings because they change every time you play the game.

By the way, the tricky (or, at least, unnerving) part of level 10 is that it starts when three customers appear at the same time asking for three 1/4 pizzas--the first has two toppings, the second is plain, and the third has three toppings. Start making the one with three toppings, then the one with two toppings, and then (as the first two finish), put the plain pizza in the oven, followed by the 2-topping pizza, and the 3-topping pizza in the oven (getting, of course, the orders of the new customers as you zip up and down; remember to dart over and start the doughmakers with the next pizzas....). The rest of that level isn't too hard.

Anyway, I hope that this explanation helps, and good luck!

9 has been tough for me too. I just recently passed it. What I do is keep a small window with Kodiak's list of pizza's open while I'm playing so I know what's coming up. SallyAnne's move seems similar to what I do too. Get the 3 topping one going and the 2 topping on first, then have the plain being made and put that in the oven before the 3 topping is done. I usually get the dough started right after I pick the first one up and I think I take it to the oven after I set the 2nd topping started.

9 has been a tough level for me, too.
Try managing your money better, so you will be able to buy lots before level 9.

level 9 is tricky, but with practice it will become just as easy as the previous levels, My upgrade method seems to work great for me so I thought I would share it, I felt upgrading the topper before level nine made it easier to make all of the 3 topping pizzas.

Level 2 – save
Level 3 – buy pizza maker
Level 4 – upgrade shoes
Level 5 – buy topper
Level 6 – save
Level 7 – buy oven
Level 8 – upgrade topper & buy pizza maker
Level 9 – buy topper
Level 10 - upgrade oven and shoes
Level 11 - upgrade topper & pizza maker
Level 12 – upgrade topper & pizza maker (two pizza maker upgrades if you have played a perfect game)
Level 13 – upgrade oven (and pizza maker if needed)

Levels 8 and 9 are always hard for me. What I try to do is double up on everything, like you do, but then I buy more advanced equipment. Try to be consistent when taking a pizza out of the oven, bring a topped pizza over, so you are taking double trips to save time. Hope I could have helped a little bit. Good Luck!

The key to Level 9 is to make sure you have at least one of everything upgraded, (i.e. dough maker, topper, shoes and oven.) The most important thing is to get the pizzas to customers FAST and in order. If you have everything upgraded, it improves your speed. I also have one extra, non-upgraded topper station by this time. The extra topper comes in handy because you can set dough on it while you are waiting for the upgraded topper to finish. Also, check the forum for people who show lists of what pizzas each customer will be ordering on each level AND PRINT IT OUT! This helps me get a jumpstart on having dough and toppings ready ahead of time.

Finally, in the middle of Level 9, you will get two orders for FULL pizzas followed by one order for a HALF pizza with three items. The first full pizza has one item. Take the full size dough off the pizza maker and THEN make the dough for the HALF pizza. Get the full size topped and in the oven and grab the HALF pizza dough THEN make the dough for the zero item full pizza. Start topping the HALF pizza which ALWAYS has three items while the first full size pizza is baking, and the second is being made on the dough maker. When the first full is done, deliver to customer and take the plain FULL right off the dough maker and pop it in the oven. By the time, the second full is done, you should have the HALF topped and ready to go in the oven, and the dough for next pizza on the dough maker ready to be topped. This strategy helped me to get through Level 9. You just have to keep busy on the next pizzas while those two FULL pizzas are baking.

I hope this helps and Good Luck!
