Angry White Terrier Retirement?
This is sad for me, but I heard that the White Terrier was discontinued and was noticed by a Webkinz fan who owns a Westie (White Terrier) for a pet and loves them. I haven't seen this little guy since October in stores, and to make American Goldens and possibly the Old English Sheepdog, you need that hair.

The White Terrier is pet of the month in February, so it isn't retired yet! I don't get how a webkinz could be discontinued by a fan?

It is a rather old pet. But,the POTM for Feburary. It cou;d retire but not very soon.

The White Terrier is an old pet, But it is the POTM fo Febuary..So I don't think it would retire at this time--Maybe in the future it might. You never know.

The white terrier is kinda old....but it's the POTM for for February, so we have to wait until after that until we can decide....
Usually when Ganz makes a pet the POTM it hasn't been selling good, so maybe this is a thought to consider after Feb. .

they retired the pink pony and it was the POTM a few months ago so there is a posabilty

That is incorrect. The Pink Pony is not retired. The only Webkinz that have been Pet of the Month and are retired are the Elephant the Cheeky Monkey. The Elephant retired the same month it was Pet of the Month, Ganz had made a grossly inaccurate estimate in the amount of Elephant left over in the warehouse at that time, which is why it probably would have been prudent to make some other Webkinz as the Pet of the Month for June 2008. The Cheeky Monkey retired about three months after it was Pet of the Month, but that was no surprise as the majority of the primates have been top sellers.

As for the White Terrier, I don't see Ganz selling out their stock of those anytime soon, but that doesn't stop them from retiring a product as a notion for retailers to buy it because it is now discontinued. However, Ganz would not put a product into retirement on behalf of a customer, collector, player, retailer, Ganz rep, etc. Ganz would only retire something if they chose to do it on their own free will or if there was a pending lawsuit against them for whatever reason, and as of now I don't see any reason for there to be one.

I mean that for POTM, they may be trying to get rid of the last of them!

She didn't request. Online Webkinz stores are out of stock and won't have it until it becomes popular.
