Duplicates in Webkinz World

I found this while searching for places selling zum buddies pre order. Don't know how valid it is so posting it here. Credit goes to webkinzpost.com. Figured someone here might know more about it or could find out if it is true.

There have been some rumors circulating recently that Webkinz World members were possibly duplicating priceless items. It appears that sadly this is true. A friend of a member on Webkinz Post had her and her daughter's account shut down today and was told by a Ganz representative that this was due to a duplicate item being on the account.
We spoke with two Ganz representatives on the phone today to try to sort this out and bring you accurate news. It is confirmed by two Ganz representatives that they are aware of the duplicates, it is true, this is happening. One representative failed to answer questions about the banning of the accounts, but would confirm the duplicates are really happening. She suggested not trading for priceless items in the trading room right now.
Another representative verified that they ARE indeed banning accounts that have priceless items on them, that they suspect to be duplicates. They have no way of knowing if you traded for this item or duplicated it onto your account. It is a violation of the User Agreement and therefore they are closing those accounts. She was unsure if they will reopen them in the future.

At this point all we have is second and third-hand information (from a friend, of a friend, of a friend, etc). If anyone has a concern about their personal account, they should contact Ganz directly to discuss it.

The User Agreement is very clear on what is and what is not permitted. Anyone who violates the Webkinz World rules is at risk of having their account banned without warning.
