Why can't I get any pieces of the map?

I have been going on vacation almost every day since vacations were available and every time I rock the boat. I have not gotten a single piece of the map yet! Not one single piece. What am I doing wrong? Or am I just that unlucky?

I think it's just totally random on what you find on the boat. I've only gotten Kc and I've been trying for a little while now. Don't worry, eventually you'll get a map piece.

Have you tried rocking at different times within the hour? I always see the ghost near the top of the hour- probably coincidence but avoiding that time has worked for me. Maybe you haven't found your map piece time yet?

I have found one piece. I have been going everyday and I feel the same as you and I'm not sure what I have been doing wrong. Although I will try the suggestion of trying to find my time for rocking the boat. Good Luck.

I've been going on the Island Vacation on 4 of my accounts almost every day -- 2 accounts have found two map pieces, 1 has three and one account got all four pieces just 8 days ago.

The odds of finding a single map piece might be just 1%-2%, so it will take a very long time to find all four pieces.
