When do you find map pieces?

Thanks Canon for PMing me about this thread. I didn't know it was here.

Yeah, I started that thread last month, mostly because I really wanted to know how to get treasure map pieces (and pirate costume pieces). I had a lot of feedback at first, but now there are only about 2-4 regulars who post every day. It's hard for people to remember to write down the time they rocked the boat, so most people don't post their results anymore.

From what suzette424 could tell (she was the one who compiled the spreadsheet), there isn't a pattern to getting treasure map pieces. It seems pretty random.

I think it would be great for you all to continue to post your results here for the treasure map pieces. I'd like to join in, because I still have 3 more pieces to get on one account. Maybe there IS a time that is best to rock the boat.

In addition, it would be great if you all could post your results on my thread (all the results, not just when you get treasure map pieces). That way, we can figure out a better probability of getting treasure maps. Currently, the WIGEV values for pirate costume pieces and treasure map prizes are extremely low (in my opinion), when they are extremely hard to find. I have better luck at party raffles then at the rock the boat game, and those items have a much higher value. It would be nice to place a more accurate value on these items.

i have never gotten one and played 15 to 20 times. not to be cheap, but when should i expect a piece of the map? without webkinz insider, i would have thought it was a huge waste of kinz cash! sign me really not cranky
