Just a Coincidence?

In November 2008, I adopted my lil' :chi:. The day after her adoption, I took her on vacation to the island. Unfortunately, the ghost from Don't Rock the Boat scared her.

Then, in December 2008, I adopted my cardinal. On his second day, I went to the island and the ghost scared him, too!

Now in January, I adopted my :husky:. And, you guessed it, the ghost scared him too.

OK, so two days ago I adopted my :toucan:. Like I did before, we went on vacation. Unsuprisingly, that annoying ghost scared him!

IDK if this is just a coincidence, or something with new pets. I took my 5 older pets and it didn't scare them. All I know is that I won't take any more of my new pets on vacation right away. What do you think?

I am kind of crazy. I have 9 accounts and buy 9 vacations per day. I average 6 scares per day. It seems to me that the "scare percent" has actually gone up. I used to win a lot more fools gold chocolates. My newest account is only a few days old. He has been traumatized every day so far. I will pay attention to see if his scare percent goes down, but it seems my oldest account (about 8 months) gets scared just as much. I sure wish we could figure out some kind of pattern to all of this. I would really like to win more pirate suit pieces!

It's always fools gold or the dang ghost for me, I take my pets on vacation atleast 5 times a week and haven't gotten 1 piece of the map yet, it's very discouraging.

Yeah, it does seem like the scare percent went up. i really want something other than fool's gold, though.

I get scared alot too and after dozens of vacations have only found 1 map piece! I have no idea how others could have completed the map so quickly!!

If I do not get scared I get either fools chocolate or 250kc (which is nice as helps pay for the trip). I rarely get a costume piece and almost never get a map piece.

I get the ghost quite a bit with new and old pets. I agree Areyel in that it's just that the "scare" percent is set high.
