It takes all your pet hunger down to 0. Health and happiness go down to. you don't want to see it.

It's not as bad as you expect it. It's not like an actual ghost comes out and goes "boo" or anything, just a message pops up that says stuff like "you've seen the ghost and it scared your pet so much, all it's hunger went down to zero." Or something like that. And then you click OK and try to cheer it up.

A little pirate ghost comes out and goes "Wooooo" - the pet says 'eeK" and loses all its happiness which is really a pain. It takes game playing , etc.. to raise the happiness back up again. A total waste for the game and surprising that Webkinz went in that direction.

I would rather at least get something - even the fools chocolate for the 500kc I just spent to go on the vacation!

Yes it is a blue ghost in a pirate outfit, who looks like he has a funny moustache. If i see him next time, i will post a picture - I have seen him the last four times or so? Your pet looks quiet scared, but it isn't a scary thing - it is kind of cute, really.

if you feed your pet their favourite food and then spin the vacation wheel or go to the clubhouse, they get happier more quickly.

You really are not missing anything by not seeing it. Your pet gets a pretty good scary and it takes awhile to get them happy again.
