Conch Shells and Tiki Torches equal?

The GEV shows the conch shells and tiki torches to be of equal value, but it seems to me the tiki torches should be worth a lot more. I've gotten a ton of conch shells on the vacation wheel, but only 1 tiki torch. Shouldn't the tiki torches trade at a higher value based on their scarcity, or do they generally come up on the wheel at about the same rate (in which case I must be
the unluckiest vacationer in Webkinz World)?

I don't know exactly how scarce they are. I've never won one, but I've won 4 or 5 conch shells. When the torch first appeared, I remember how everyone went nuts over it, but it seemed impossible to get. Maybe not so any more.

But then I've seen pics of members' rooms, and they have a bunch of torches. Someone must be winning them! Plus, I think it was a raffle prize. You know, before they started giving out air boxes as raffle prizes *sigh*

The only suggestion I can offer, for any of the wheels (and you should know that I am AWESOME at getting 20 KC on the Wheel of Wow , aren't you impressed?), is to try to vary the amount of time between the "curtain" opening, and clicking on the spin button.

True story.... when they had the Kinzstyle sunglasses on the W.O.W., a WI member said that he had winning them down to a science. He waited for an exact number of seconds before clicking to spin. He claimed to have won like a dozen pairs of them.

If you go on vacation a lot, you can try that. See how long you need to wait in order to get a certain prize. Try varying your wait time. Sit and stare at the wheel, praying, or just thinking good thoughts.......

I've actually been trying that because I want some torches, too. No luck, yet, but I'll keep trying.
