ellie356, if you feel you have outgrown it, you could always turn your Webkinz account(s) into a tool. For example, you can volunteer to give introductory computer lessons to children. That idea came to me when I was using my Webkinz account to show a young child how to use the mouse, drag and drop etc. It made the lesson fun and exciting for her! Not all children have access to a computer and you would be helping them prepare for when they have to learn computer in school!

I feel that guilt sometimes too. Then I remember that I can not feel guilt for putting money into something I enjoy.

Do you feel guilt for that pop you bought the other day or how much you spent going to the movies the other night? No. That's because when we do things we enjoy, we shouldn't feel guilt.

You put money into things you love. Don't feel bad that you have grown out of it and never feel guilty for having put money into something you once enjoyed.

If it brought you joy and happiness for how ever long it did, it was worth it!

I feel guilty sometimes too. But Webkinz is the pretend little world that I can escape to. I control everything that happens or doesn't happen , unlike my real life. When and if I don't want to have any Webkinz accounts, I plan on having a huge give away. I know someone who is doing that on the GE. Every week she gives a list of items away. She said it is more fun than trading ever was. Making people's "dream" come true by giving them something they'll love.
But before you do that.. I agree just take a break for a while and see if you get a renewed interest.

Hi I use to feel guilty not any more because as every one said it's a hobby and my older kids all have different hobbies. I have one daughter who love to make jewelry and the other kid just love craft in general...my husband plays pool and he will collect pool ques the last one he bought cost $700.00. Now when I feel guilty I just think about everyone's hobbies and the cost of them I have the cheapest hobby...If I get bored I simply stay away for a couple of days and the addiction is there again...Good Luck with your decission..

me to i have over 80 webkinz and so does my brother and sister i feel fell guilty and you can't go back in the past i don't even have the latest thing anymore all of my webkinz are ones from summers ago but i don't care i keep my acount going you should to then you wolundn't feel so guilty it sounds like you still want to keep you and why stop now ? keep your acount going i don't tell my friends that i still go on but i really don't care ...i don't like the idea of the deluxe meber ship just another way to waste money or on ganz end earn it

Sometimes taking a break will renew interest in an old hobby.

In genereal, Webkinz provides a LOT of playtime for the dollars spent. It sounds like you were able to enjoy it for a very long time. Give it a rest and you will know when it is time to come back. In the mean time, get some fresh air. Spring is here
