why do people like rare more than exclusive

Well because most of the rare rares dont come in to often so people want more of those than exclusives because exclusive you can get those more often than rares but some rares are in a lot so people would'nt want those because you can get those too often like exclusives

I think the appeal of the rares is trying to make a set.

The exclusive items are popular to collect, but once you have them all it's no biggie anymore.

The pet-specific items -- some are cool, but others are too particular to a pet. I don't really want a dog item when I don't own any dogs, KWIM?
