However, in the trading room, it is not marked as exclusive. The same for the neon plants, and rainbow jelly cactus I've seen. All the current exclusives are always tagged as being exclusives. I know that some of the retired items (windmill, gold safe) were sold on the eStore, but eStore items can't even be traded.
I'm pretty sure my blue wagons really are retired exclusive, but how come they are not marked as exclusive? Yes, the blue wagon is an exclusive. I'm guessing they just forgot to program it so the retired ones still say exclusive on them. That could create some problems for people who don't know they were exclusives | | | 09-28-2009, 10:34 AM | #3 | TV Dinner is a Gift Guru Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 5,132 | Re: retired exclusives, no longer exclusive? The reason they do that is because it is no longer an exclusive item. Just because it is retired. Retired would mean we can no longer get it from that resource. I hope this helps you!

My blue wagons are genuine retired exclusives, and for reason known only to Ganz, they are not marked as being any different than a W Shop item. It kinda makes sense that they don't want them marked the same as current exclusives you can get from the Wish Machine, but I almost sold back my first one, because I didn't know how special it was. PSI from retired pets are still marked as PSI. I think most of the people responding to this thread are under the impression that you want to know why your items aren't tagged as "retired exclusives". The way I understand it, your retired items are not even tagged as "exclusive" any more, correct? I wouldn't know because I don't even take my retired exclusives to the trading room, but it makes sense. I believe my first post on WI had to do with a trade for a retired exclusive, I got a message asking if I was sure I wanted to trade an item of value for a common item, even though the item I was trading for was clearly more valuable than the item I was trading. I didn't notice at the time whether or not it was tagged as an exclusive item, but after reading your post, I'll bet it wasn't. I don't know why they would drop the exclusive tag when an exclusive is retired, but I can see how it might work for you if you're trying to make a trade for a retired exclusive item as well as how it could work against you if you're trying to trade a retired exclusive for something else. | | | 09-29-2009, 09:11 AM | #8 | ishes she could be a Webkinz :) Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 4,397 | Re: retired exclusives, no longer exclusive? There are a lot of glitches like this. I've had my retired moon lamps say "Holiday items" before....so I think this is one place Ganz is still working on. At least it is better than it used to be...I've traded for some of those recipe foods, thinking they were decorations before! My webkinz were so sad! __________________ Click my siggie to see the Nutcracker Ballet: Done in Webkinz!

My current exclusives say "prismatic chair, exclusive" or something to that effect. My retired exclusives just say "blue wagon"
I'll try and remember to e-mail Ganz when I log-in to WW today. | | | 10-03-2009, 06:26 AM | #10 | booooo!!!!!
