Moon Lamp - Who guessed it and stocked up on it?

I picked both to load up on the Space Poster and the Moon Lamp (by luck). Went broke in the process, but looks like at least I was lucky to get tons of these lamps to put into my rooms/trade or whatever. Wish the lamp did more or was bigger but eh, can't be too picky right?

OooOoo I just thought of it, this is my first true collector item I guess. I have goose bumps (KIDDING).



How many of you guessed the correct RETIRED item?

i guesssed it would be this. But i didnt think the space theme was going retirred.. ugh that annoyed i was nice to have some friends send me space stuff now i have 3 of those lamps (: might try to get more in the trading room if i can

Well, after seeing that it was the Moon Lamp, ()mega, I should have known it was the item to be retired.
Back in January of 2008 there was a contest through the Webkinz Site, itself. Find Arte's Missing Curios.
One of the Clues was the Moon Lamp.


Then also one of the Quizzy's questions that week led us to believe that it was one of the clues or items we needed to solve his missing Curio Shop items:

I can't say that I guessed it would be that, but I had started buying them occasionally a long time ago, just because it was one item I could afford to just buy and store for later. Yes, you could say I stocked up on them...my account still had them in the wshop until last night, so now my house is bare bones (I feel like I refinanced!) but I have um...."a lot" of lamps for later!

I know it was going to be the moon lamp. I didn't stock up on it though, because I don't even like it.

Nah I didn't really feel like stocking up on it either...
It's not going to be priceless til 2013 or 2014 most likely, I view it as, if you want valuable items, what's the point? LOL

I feel with you there man, I had other CSO items (cat/dog) and decided to sell them last minute to afford to load up on lamps too. I like your little icon with the lamps with your cow, nice.
