LAST DAY FOR HALLOWEEN ITEMS - What to buy????

I am glad that I got a few of the Crystal Balls from last year - I too was dissapointed that they didn't come back this year. I was also suprised that the TV didn't reappear. Since that was a fairly expensive item, I didn't buy many, but I think I got a few of them.

I reeeeeeealy stocked up on the licorice bats and pumpkin pops! *lol* You never know when Ganz might decide to use one of those ingredients for a recipe (something we think they wouldn't do since it is a holiday item, but look what they did by using "fresh" cabbage for the YTT recipe).

The 08/09 flooring and wallpaper is very cool. I wouldn't mind seeing it come back once more, but has WW ever kept special theme items for more than 2 years in a row without taking it away? This is my third year with a WW account, but I wasn't experienced enough during my first year to stock up on items that were of a limited nature (and I hadn't discovered Webkinz Insider yet - this is the most invaluable tool for WW users ever!)

So after all the rambling *lol* I would say that the following items won't return: small spider web, last years purple pumpkin dining chair, the dining table, and the tombstone coffee table. The haunted organ definitely won't be coming back - my guess is that it was a one time return and will now be retired forever more (maybe they threw that in to make up for the other theme items not returning from last year?). This next group may not return: the gargoyle items (bookshelf, sofa, etc.), cobweb bed, haunted fridge, floor/wallpaper, and pumpkin pop. I think the licorice bats will come back with a new haunted food item. And though I adore the current bed, everyone loves new beds - it is one of the most important pieces of furniture (you get wallpaper, flooring and then a bed - typically speaking) yet there are very few styles to choose from in the W-shop. [Ganz seriously needs to create more bed styles, but that's a whole other topic for discussion *lol*]

I love the lightening windows, so I think those should stay, but it is possible that the shape or style could change a bit. [It's hard to see something go that you like so much, right?] With the haunted organ coming back after two years I would venture to guess that one or two items that didn't come back this year, from 2008, may return for 2010 - maybe the crystal ball?

As far as all the new Halloween outfits this year, your guess is as good as mine. I will say that they will all return for 2010, but you just never know.

It really is anyone's guess and there are so many things that Ganz could do. I can just imagine sitting at the "idea" table when it comes time to choose designs for the next season. The possibilities are endless, and with modern technology moving as quickly as it is, animation gets better and better.

With all the choices and speculation there is one thing that is certain......

it takes a lot of $$$kinzcash$$$ to complete a theme/set and to buy a bunch of extras to have before they are retired for good!! *lol*



Start saving for Christmas items now!!! *LOL*

Haha. Isn't that the truth? Start saving for Christmas items now... since I'm broke from Halloween. Wonder what will be new this Christmas. I really enjoy the holiday themes plus they make good trading chips.

Has anyone noticed the Halloween items offered for sale in the curio shop AFTER November 1? I saw the organ and the spider web today, and I was still able to buy them. Wonder how long that will keep up.

Just replying to Dixiecup about the food disappearing because there are no phantom pops, I was offered one is the trading room a couple of days ago, so there are still some around.
