Oh my goodness! It's not like anyone will actually buy the items for the WIGEV. And aren't those prices just a "guesstimate" of their worth?

I know that some trade only according to values, but then there are others, like me for example, who trade for what they actually like. If I don't like it, I don't care how much it is supposed to be worth. Am I willing to trade, in hopes that I can trade it off, down the road, Nah. With my luck I would get stuck with it. LOL.

That hat is not priceless, sorry. Some people can be dishonest about the worth of an item to get what they want from you. Based on the info read on this site as well as the Webkinz Newz site there is a possibility we might see that hat again during the Fall Festival. I hope so! I have a couple & love it, would love to get a couple more.

I always keep up the WIGEV page when I trade because, unfortunately, there are so many unscrupulous traders out there. I am VERY cautious in the Trade Room, if I go there at all.

I bet someone had the piece you traded and you can get it back. Good luck!!!

OH MY GOODNESS, everyone is getting a little crazy with all this. NOTHING IS PRICELESS or worth anything!!! This is supposed to be a childrens game and for fun and it has gotten completely out of hand. As soon as this site came up with that "made up" priceless list things just went from bad to worse in webkinz world. It has gotten so I will not even let my grandchildren go anywhere near the trading rooms because of all the adults that have made this so not for them anymore! If any trading is to be done my daughter and I do it for them and with them and it really isn't even fun anymore. I hope webkinz brings all those so called "priceless" items to the e-store and makes them really worthless for everyone! Please try and remember this is just a game and is supposed to be for CHILDREN.

I have the top and shirt. Gonna go on my other account and get the hat though, LOL! I recieved the top and bottom as a gift this year, and I didn't know what it was. xD Know I'm glad I have it.

Well sorry, I disagree. It's not fair to assume that the people who try and scam in the trading rooms are all adults... I doubt that it is some 40 year old who begs and begs and pleads with me to just give them my purple witch hat for the Wheel of Wow jacket. I doubt that it is an adult who tries to pass off the crown-looking food for the Crown of Wonder. And I doubt that it is an adult who uses words that Kinz chat plus will allow, to form swear words when I don't want to trade with them. This IS a game geared for children, and that includes young adults who are intelligent enough to know how to prey on younger users.

Chaparoning your child is a good idea ANYWHERE they go on the internet. Even sites like WW and WI open the possibility for kids to talk to people whom they should not.

And the priceless thing? WE define the price given to these objects. Just like real antiques, their value only exists because we create it. People have been collecting rare items for generations, and just like how our lives have changed because of technology, so has what we collect. Please don't judge or criticize those of us who choose to spend our time and money hunting down these items; that is our perogative.

Bottom line: I'm not a kid, I'm a collector of rare and priceless items, and I'm proud to say:

I PLAY WEBKINZ!

I'm sorry that they told you that it is priceless. It is a good idea to look at the value chart of these items, but then you have to decide what it is worth to you. I have traded items that were worth more than the fruit basket, simply because I wanted it, and I didn't have it yet. I have also seen a lot of green santa suit pieces, so I think you'll be able to get your piece back. Especially since we are getting close to Christmas, people seem to pull out all their holiday items again!

I think the fruit basket is nice, and there is a good chance it won't come back this year. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you.

I never said that the scammers were all adults. I just feel that this site was designed for kids and whether young or older, that everyone that comes to the site should be given a chance to get the items that they were not around for. It was developed to be FUN not cutthroat and that is what it has become, sorry to say. If someone have 5 purple witch hats they want the world for them and it is just an item in a "CHILDRENS" game even though we adults play it. I think it is wonderful that Ganz is bringing some of these items to the e-store and I hope they continue to do so. And this "list" that was developed has caused more harm than good when it comes to the trading room. I trade for items I like not for their value, if I have more than one of something and someone wants it and they have something I like and need I will trade for it, regardless of "value".
