Quitters never win!

Excellent post Faithintn. I caught my 7 year old quitting halfway through a game the other day because she was losing and took away her webkinz for a day. She then had to listen to a tirade about laziness and apathy. There is absolutely no excuse for ever quitting something, and is one of my biggest issues with computers. It makes everything sooooooo easy and if it gets difficult, you can always quit and try again or do something else that you already know how to do. I am worried about future generations based on what I see happening, and this simple little game is merely an example.

Sorry to expand atomicolicious into a reflection of societal problems, but this is a problem, and I hope that all the grandparents and parents here will monitor not only the content of what kids are looking at, but how they are acting. While this is just a kids game, it can also be seen as an extension of how they will react in future situations. And for any kids that are reading this, please take it to heart.

Quitters can quit the game even though there is no glitch. Sometimes they do it on purpose.
Sometimes they do it because they are losing. Sometimes they do it just to be rude. Sometimes they do it because they want to play another game. You never know why they will quit is the problem, though!

I agree one thousand percent! I get so annoyed when everybody I face quits before the game even starts. I don't even get to play! It's so not fair!

I agree wholeheartedly. While I am here can I add two other pet peeves?

1. Those who continue to take advantage of the game glitch where it doesn't go back to the arcade after a win. (you know who you are evil otter) Pull up your big girl panties and take your loss and don't take advantage of that post game glitch.
I know some will claim that some games aren't played real time, but if the pet says "looks like you won this one" when you are taking your winning move, then you can bet they are just working the glitch.

2. If you have made a killer move and have your beakers mostly filled on your first and second turn, is it REALLLLLY necessary to make that complicated three tier move just so you can blast me? I used to never blast anyone for any reason. Now I wait to see if they are going to blast me and if they do, then I feel free to blast them back.

I agree completely! But what bothers me most, is that if they see you're winning, they quit. Why? I mean, they could lose with kinzcash, but they would rather forfeit the game and their kinzcash than to know that they lost.
As well, sometimes if you're winning, your opponent won't even quit. I am pretty sure that they log out, or go to a different area, and all you get is "So and so left the game" message, and you don't even get your kinzcash!
And then sometimes if they quit, they try and add you to their friends list! There is no way I am adding a sore loser to my friends list.
I agree completely, again, that GANZ should do something about this, because it isn't a life lesson to lose if you can't win.

Ok, I have to add this to my post:
So after the sore loser has quit the game, and I go back to the arena to find another opponent, you'll click the button, and you'll get the same opponent that had quit the game before. And once they see that it's you again, they quit without even starting the game!
LOL, sorry about ranting like this, but I can't stand sore losers (or sore winners for that matter) !

Another thing that bugs me...when a person "zaps" you the dog says "whose the winner now!"

Some people quit cause

1. They have to win all the time. They cannot lose.
2. They have bragged to all their friends that they are gonna win...but when they find out they aren't, they quickly quit and then leave, and say, "Oh that person quit on me!" When in reality they did it.
3. They have to eat dinner, use the restroom, or anything that will take them away from the computer (In other words they have no choice.)
4. They got one of those please wait things and had to log out
5. They are timed on the computer and mommy and daddy said they had to get off...Game done or not.
6. They are grounded and got caught playing.
7. They are playing Webkinz and are like old and feel embarrassed so quickliy sign out.
8. They are doing it at work and the boss is approaching.
9. They are just plain quitters.
10. There is some event they forgot about that is going on at the moment and if they dont leave and do it..they will miss it. Like some rare item or hourly event or something

I think it is great that they dont get rewarded any kinzcash for quitting though.

I mean if people have to leave...then i can understand.

But if they are quitting just cause they arent winning...then seriously...you cant win every time!

Yeh that's snobbish. They shouldnt teach kids that winning is everything. Cause have some kid on there and the dog says that can hurt them. The dog sh ould be more nice like...Good try. Wow, that was great! etc...none of this...Who's the winner now..snob stuff.
