Problems?

New? Improved? Fixed?? NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I think GANZ has lost their mind! Atomicolicious is NO better than it was before. Now in the middle of a game, GANZ resets my account. The game comes back, but since my dock is now across the bottom of the screen, you can't make moves at the bottom of the grid. When someone finally wins, the opponent just hangs, and hangs, and hangs. You have to log out, then back in again. Are you awarded the KC for the game? Of course not! That would be FAIR!

I'm sure that this post will upset some members here, especially those who report that they have NO problems with the game, and that we should all give GANZ a chance. Well after almost a year on and nothing but problems, I think GANZ has had enough chances. If I had a chance to rate their customer service, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate them a -100. But of course, you will not see a survey from them about "How are we doing?" I guess that the millions of phone calls they get each day must tell them something about the product they are producing. In my opinion, I don't think THEY REALLY CARE! If they did, things would be fixed.

So sorry everyone has had problems with this game. I just learned how to play it, and I love it, even got my mom hooked on it. I have had problems, too, with it timing out waiting for an opponent, and with the opponent just hanging there at the end of the game. I also have problems with Supermodelz. When these games do work, I always try to get a rematch so I can keep playing. While I am very sympathetic, especially since I haven't had half as many glitches on my account that others have, I want to add a little perspective (after all, I am a "grown-up"). We're talking about computers here, they are machines, they are run and used by people who are human, they are subject to bugs and glitches and viruses, the programming is complex......blah, blah, blah. Keep the faith!!! Enjoy what you can on WW. Try to be patient. Know that you are not alone in your frustration. Vent on WI forums. Help other WI members with their questions. Remember to smile!!!! (Put the rainbow afro wig on your pet, that always makes me smile!!!!) Best of luck, everyone!!!!!

Yep, problems here too! I am able to get in and find an opponent about 1/2 of the time. The worst thing is when there is a glitch toward the end of my game with someone. There has been times when either I've been one move away from winning or my opponent has when a glitch kicks in. The glitch either states that my opponent has left the room (when they have not) or that they have timed out but for some reason I never get a turn and it is just kind of stuck.

I've been playing it for the last few days without problems... I wonder what's going on? It timed out constantly before that, but now it's no problem at all.

It will work really good for a while then it goes into a freezing spell or just slow to Crashing the whole Internet Service Provider . I use a couple of ISP's and they have all sent back "WEBKINZ WEBSITE" & "ADOBE FLASH PLAYER" "SERIOUS ERROR" notices, they have all tried to correct the problems on their end, but cannot fix other company program errors

I had a different problem when I was playing today around 3:30 CST. I got my opponant just fine, and we were in the middle of a game when I suddenly saw a chance to get 4 in a row. I made my move and the computer would not let it happen! It switched the atoms back to where they were and Goober said, "I don't think so!" as if it had been a wrong move. When my opponent tried to do a similar move on the same group of 3 but with different atoms, it would not let her, either. Then I was successful in using the bottom atom of that group to make a play, and when the atoms fell down to fill the empty spaces, one space stayed empty in the middle of the board! A few plays later, my opponent left the game...........but after reading what other members have said, now I wonder if she really left (I figured she was frustrated with the glitches) or if the computer just said she left. How frustrating!
