Question Webkinz Pug

Hey guys! Thought I'd like to tell you that the Webkinz Pug should NOT be the Pet of the Month. 13 months ago, this pet WAS the POTM, and with that I'd like to ask, Isn't the POTM supposed to be a non-retired, never before POTM, non-eStore pet? Isn't Ganz wrong to make this a POTM so soon after? There are plenty of pets, like the Brown Arabian or the Velvety Elephant, that haven't been POTM that Ganz could use.

This is a List of POTM pets from April 2008. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Pink Poodle, Panda, Elephant, Cheeky Monkey, Clydesdale, Bullfrog, Pug, Hippo, Polar Bear, Bulldog, White Googles, Yorkie, Alley Cat, Cocker Spaniel, Pink Pony, Spotted Frog, Grey Arabian, Leopard, Golden Retriever, and Pug again.

Isn't that weird? Okay, maybe its not. Just thought I'd refresh you all on the POTM list, if you've forgotten. I don't know any pets before that, so don't tell me I missed some. Thanks for reading!

It's not really surprising - POTM tends to be an older one that's probably not that popular anymore, since lots of people have them already. It's a marketing ploy to make older pets more marketable.

I asked this question in a post when I saw the ad on WW. With all of the possible choices of old pets to make POTM, what were they thinking choosing the pug again? the only upside is that those of us who already bought this pet a year ago, can now do the very few activies that appear without it costing a thing. This is the reason I bought the membership for my family. We get something new each month, there are at least four extra activities a day, guaranteed, and with the family membership, it cost a total of $3.75 a month for all of us as opposed to somewhere around $65.00 month to do the POTM. AND then they decide to repeat a pet? Maybe too many liquid lunches by the staff or something. Anyway, I got really tired of buying old plushes for the little we received from the POTM program. If I am going to pay for pets, I would like it to go for something new.
