Just wanted to share with you a tool I made for myself for timing festival events (leaves, etc.). Since there are a few distractions in my home (LOL), I always found myself thinking "OK, I signed on at 12:42, so I have to watch at 12:48/12:54", etc. since, as we know, most events occur in 6-12 minute intervals.
I folded a sheet of paper crosswise into 6 panels (which, when rolled up, formed a double thickness triangle). On each panel, I wrote out numbers in 6-minute segments, thus the first two panels read as:
00/06/12/18/24/30/36/42/48/54/
and
01/07/13/19/25/31/37/43/48/55/
The four subsequent panels would then begin with "02/", "03", etc.
Now, when I sign onto WW, I note the Kinztime and flip my triangle with the proper number series facing me. If I step away from the computer or get distracted, all I have to do is compare the current Kinztime to my panel and I can pick up on the schedule without a thought in my little pea brain!
If you try it, I hope it'll be as helpful to you! GemaL |
