I am going to second that opinion. Based on my 7 years' experience in programming both web and video games, things like the missing leaves, site crashes on Wheel of WOW, no Deluxe boxes, Gem Hunt already played when it isn't, Fashion Class freeze-up, can't log off from the pets' room, items stuck to the floor, plants not updating when they get gardened, empty air boxes in the Vacation area, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc and more etc and DEFINITELY THE FAULT OF INEXPERIENCED OR NEGLIGENT PROGRAMMERS.

I have been in that protected environment where the programmer/techies can sit behind a locked door and tell the CS reps/ agents that something is the matter (when the truth is, it isn't). I have even supervised a team of game programmers at one point and had a heck of a time getting them to do what was required of them (attitude/ mislead priorities is usually the issue). Many times I have double-checked code myself and found sloppy, sloppy code errors and even vulgar code comments worked into the main code, the work of someone who was trying to be funny and didn't think anyone would see it (or just plain couldn't care less).

I would go out on a limb and say this is most certainly the problem at GANZ. The fact that things which once worked suddenly no longer work, especially after an update (read: glitchfest) is evidence of this- because these functions should be black-box programmed so that they aren't affected by other functions... yet they aren't.

It's GANZ fault and don't buy into the story that it's your browser or your problem. This is all on THEIR end and THEY need to fix it.

GANZ is a restaurant where you pay them up front, place your order, then they drop your food on the floor, scrape it up if you're lucky and serve it to you anyway- then they expect you to tip them.

I can say that I called and was told they had been receiving calls but that there was no problem.
When I politely told her that there must be a problem since they were receiving calls and that after several hours I had seen no leaves. I explained that there must be a problem and the customer service representative told me that if she was me she "would go do something else."
I am not sure that Ganz or at least their telephone representatives care.

Great post! I've felt this way all along. It's THEM not ME!! I will continue to be polite to their CS reps because this problem isn't THEIR fault either. It's GANZ's owner's, superviosrs' and programmers' fault But when they try to tell me it's ME again, I will politely say, no it's not... It's your programming or servers. It needs to be fixed.

This is all hysterical!
It means I am not crazy for expecting so much. It means I am not the only one who suffers glitches daily and shrugs. I have been beaten down so much that I am amazed if I can do my dailies (which could not do today!). I have posted similar consumer based suggestions before, but they got deleted. We do not buy anymore. It has lost its "funness" becasuse who wants to get all stressed over a computer game? When it works, it is a lot of fun, but that "when" is too infrequent. I think I would have better odds in Vegas.

I only got 1 leaf tonite. and I was shocked it was a New Item. But ONE LEAF? This is my 2nd FF and I'm beyond baffled how this is the worst one ever... wow.. ONE LEAF!? Last nite I think I got THREE. Jeez. I guess they dont want us to have over 20 prizes per account or something?? I got 200 last year.. and I gave half away as gifts. That's what that's for!

PS I am not going to call them. They would just give me the same answer. Good Luck!

I agree with Calabelle.......last year the leaves were flying so fast I was getting about 15 an hour. I got at least 3 of every item, and I gave away or traded many of them. Why is Ganz so stingy this year? It is such a disappointment to have just a little time to spend on the computer each day and to come away empty handed.

I could throw the rake away for the amount of leaves I got in 4 days on 4 accounts. They don't even make a pile. I see most of us are having problems. I have to say today was a better day I got 8 and they were all yellow & red. No orange whatsoever. The orange are the ones I want because that's where the sweater is. I did go to the trading room and someone was kind enough to trade a sweater. It will probably be the only one I will get. Someone mentioned about the time flashing. I did see that many times and wondered what it was. They could be right....the glitch.

Oh I did write to them several times under the comments and suggestions section.

As I usually don't go on webkinz, I was doing a trade today, so I looked for leaves, for about an hour, no leaves. Seriously ganz, we are a tough crowd and want our fall fest prizes!

My only consilation about this years fall fest is that there are only three new items. I already got two sweaters, two pressed leave plaques, and enough butternut squash to feed an army! So, for me it's not like I am missing out on a lot of neat stuff.

Also, last year I never got a wheat sheaf, now I have one.

As far as I am concerned, I am doing just fine. Yes, I would like the leaves to come falling more, but, well, that's the way it is.
