I called Ganz a few minutes ago and started getting the standard response, so I politely but firmly cut the nice lady off. She told me that the reps had received an e-mail this morning from the techies stating that there is no problem, the leaves are flying just fine from what they can see (if there is no problem, why the need for the e-mail stating that there is no problem?) I then told her about the flash that appears on the screen randomly and said that perhaps these are leaves flying, and they are flying, but they are not visible to us. She said that she had not heard of the flash and would pass that along.

Hopefully???

Honestly I do not think these people have any idea what they are talking about. Either that or they are told to play stupid. They know about the "flash " because I and several other wi people told them about it on Friday. I swear this customer service is horrible. I can't even tell you how many bad experiences I have had with them. Now they play the oh we did not know about that we will let the tech team know.

I singled out these two responses, but I noticed a common theme here, it seems like we are talking to different customer service departments. The reason I called THREE times and got THREE separate people is because I have read so much n here about their terrible customer service, and when the first person was not HELPFUL IN THE LEAST, I wanted to give another rep a chance. Both the next two sounded like they had a prepared script in front of them! All three people told me they had been getting some calls, the techs had looked into it, and the leaves were falling just fine. They said we could catch more during the "peak" hours???? I said the "peak hours" are in the middle of the night on Asian! She said between 4:00 and 8:00 American time...I didn't even bother to explain there are FOUR American time zones! I guess she means "Kinz time" Anyway, I seriously did suggest stopping it and having it later if they couldn't get it fixed. I told all three that there were some getting leaves just fine, and some not getting any at all (like me) and they said "Well the leaves fall randomly" I think if enough people continue to call, they will get tired of it and DO SOMETHING (maybe, hope, hope)

Does anyone know if the type of browser you use matters? On Saturday, I caught one leaf. Then on Sunday, I switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox. Since the switch, I have been on for at least 1 1/2 hours with NO LEAVES at all! Could it be my browser?

I read other threads where Mozilla seemed to be working better and that is my browser. I hate IE...don't know, I think it is Ganz's programming!!!

Peggios, based on 9 years experience in the web tech field, I would say that you are correct. Ganz needs to do one of 2 things:

1) Send their programmers to school to upgrade their tech education (large companies invest in sponsoring inhouse programmers continued education)

or

2) Get new programmers

Most companies are at the mercy of what their techies tell them. I've consulted with many businesses whose techies have told them a line of ****. All of the constant glitches and problems are the result of poor programming and/or inadequate server (hosting) services. All of that costs money, but cutting costs in these areas can end up costing a business a lot more.

Ganz has a good thing going, they should really invest in bringing WW up to web standards.

That's my 2 cents, now I'll climb down off of my soapbox, lol.

Its no one's browser,etc,its a Ganz problem! but they claim there is NO problem,you can bet my wallet will be a problem now.My daughter WAS looking forward to this,now? forget it.

I think we should stage a boycott of their products until they fix their problems. Especially the falling leaves is a big bust. Last year we got no non nada flying zingos, and we had the leaf problem every day but one. If we could ban together and not buy estore or any more webkinz lets say for the rest of September, maybe that would get some notice.
