Prior to signing up our accounts for Deluxe, I called and spoke to a Ganz operator (whose name I DO have) and she informed me that "each of the members will need to take their vacation each month or they lose it." And like clockwork, we have lost a few months of the FREE vacations because I have not sent the pets on a vacation.

So can you imagine when I posted a gentle reminder thread on OCT 31 that this is the last day for your OCTOBER Deluxe FREE vacation or you forfeit!
I am curious if we are the only Deluxe accounts that are operating like this?!

I do not have Deluxe myself but the people on the party thread have accumulated tickets. They are not losing them if they don't use them.

Thanks for your sympathies Hypatia, however, this really is not something I was even expecting. I knew going into Deluxe (conversation with the operator) that if our vacations were not used we lost them. If you don't know what you are missing, then nothing really lost, right?! I certainly do not want to attract Ganz's attention to this if others are "getting" instead of loosing with reference to a (possible) glitch

I too forgot to make a little time for R&R the last two months. To be quite honest, I totally forgot it was a deluxe perk.. My experience differs from yours in that I had two vacations waiting in my ticket book when the clubhouse shut down and the Coral Cove became the only ghost hunting venue. Those free trips allowed me the opportunity to complete my candy collection. Totally cool!
