clock theory/kids disappointment

i am sorry to say the clock n webkinz world can be off to catch leaves. it's been a problem (the clock changing it's time) all week. it did not stop my leaves from falling. i know i have been looking for a reason why fall fest has been a bust this year. but the reality is bad programming on the company's part. i hope they listen to all the phone calls and written complaints and redeem themselves when winterfest arrives.

my heart goes out to all the kids who were so disappointed by this fest and for all the parents who tried so hard to catch leaves for there kids. and to all the aunts, uncles, grandparents, older siblings, and friends. sometimes i can forget webkinz are for kids, made for kids, a site created around kids likes and what would intice them into playing. i am a very addicted grownup who sometimes loses focus of this fact. all of my phone calls and written complaints have focused on this aspect of the fall fest issue. i think that is the best chance of getting anything changed and it really is them most important reason to change a lot about WW.

i love webkinz, really i do.. but even i have decided it's time to stop buying. and that makes me very sad.

My kids didn't even try for fall fest this year. Last year the first day of fall fest was so exciting, then they got disappointed. They tried winterfest and after that being so slow webkinz has become less popular in or household. It is not at the top of the kids wish list anymore. They still don;t want their accts to expire but they have seen other sites that work better (like the missions and special events on club penguin) so they won't even watse their time waiting an hour or a leaf and I really don't want them on the computer more then that each day.

Last year we caught over 300 leaves, this year 19, 14 of those were food.

Next time a leaf goes by and you miss it, think boy, that was a pretty leaf, or enjoy some real leaves with prizes bigger than any virtual sweater.

Have a wonderful fall season, and please take some time today to enjoy the real outside that you do have.

Remember, Fall Fest is supposed to be fun! Not a huge deal.

no, what wrecks webkinz for me is kids being disappointed over and over. please don't judge me or claim i don't go outside or have a life. i have caught over 100 leaves and why? to give to my friends whose computers, for whatever reason are not giving out leaves. i am a good person with a good heart. and if you don't think this is upsetting for your kids i respect that. but i know plenty of kids that felt pretty bad not catching a leaf. it may not seem important to you but that is no reason to say those things to me. take the time to read my other posts before forming an opinion about me please.

Gee, I'm really sorry you thought I was judging you! I was most certainly not. I just wanted to wish you a happy Fall season and make sure you realized Fall Fest was for fun. It was very nice of you to give away your prizes. And making sure kids aren't disappointed is important to me too!

I hope you can now understand I wasn't judging you at ALL and I didn't mean to bother you.
I really feel bad you took it like that.
