Anyone change the butterfly tree for gate?

I am wondering if anyone was able to convince Ganz to change the butterfly tree for the gate. When I called on Friday I was told I had to keep the tree and forget the gate but I do wonder if anyone got a different answer.

UPDATE: I called Ganz again and was awarded the gate but I had to give up the tree. It was fine with me since I didn't like the tree Thank you Ganz! I am glad to see some improvement in your costumer service or maybe I just had bad luck before.

i am glad to hear that they gave you the gate. i know that you prefered the gate, but the tree is nice. i love the animations of the butterflies flying around.
the gate is great and i guess since i have several from the previous halloween, that is why i might have just kept the tree.
i am glad though that ganz did give you your choice. it wasn't your glitch, and you should have the right to get what you won.

way to go on sticking to your guns and getting your gate!!!!

congrats on getting the gate. I was actually hoping for the tree. I have several of the gates stuck in some rooms. lol

Congratulations on getting your gate (and kudos to your "powers of persuasion" )! It's a funny story, because I actually got the butterfly tree, but didn't bother contacting Ganz about it. One of the reasons why is because I had never heard about or seen the butterfly tree before, and I am an avid collector, so this was a pleasant surprise. In addition, because I am a collecting fanatic, I always buy the Halloween/Holiday themed items the moment they come out. (Sometimes I'll blindly buy all of the items and then realize some were from last year ). So I already had the gate. But enough about me. I'm happy for you and your gate, because it's really cool, and the red eyes are animated!

Can someone please explain how they won a butterfly tree or a gate? I must have missed out on that one

it was on the special wheel they had on either on halloween or the next day. 1 item was the retired haunted gate from last holloween but instead people recieved a butterfly tree

OHHHHH DUHHHH!!! Yes I remember that. I actually did win a gate on 1 account. And that's what they gave me was a gate. I didn't know that some people was getting trees instead. That is weird!
