GRAND RE-OPENING IS TOMORROW! We'll be making a new thread for tracking Cricket's improvements with her RFD because...well, because I started this off not the way I wanted to. And some of you know that that doesn't help me, being that I'm a perfectionist.

Aww! Poor Cricket... I've always wondered what it was like for the Webkinz at the factory... unfortunately, none of my Webkinz remember. Princess seems to be acting quite strange, though...

I'll be sure to check back often to see how's she doing! Be sure to send my love to her by giving her an extra hug, kiss, and gentle pet.

One question though: Is she shy around other wolves? Or is it mostly just humans? I hope she can get some wolf friends, Hunter will defiantly be her friend if she'd like it and she's ready.

Good luck with Cricket, I know she'll get better with you as her owner.

Don't think of it as a bad thing.

I don't know how she is around other wolves. Virtually, she's good around Webkinz in general, but I don't have any other Webkinz to see if she likes them.

Well, if Cricket ever wants to talk/play/or anything to any fellow wolves or other Webkinz, mine are at her service.

Hunter really wants to meet more wolves. Can't wait for the first update!

I don't even know what to say! Poor, poor thing! If Cricket needs some other Webkinz to talk to, mine would love to have him over.

It's okay Cricket, if not for those people, you wouldn't be here today. That's all they were doing. And then you're taken to a store where loving people go to buy nice little Webkinz like you.

If any Webkinz is to intentionally shy away in the future, she/he WILL be mine, for I know a person in which can help with this condition.

I really can't wait to see how Cricket's doing.

Entry #1 - Grand Opening!

Hey, everybody! Welcome to the first journal entry in "Learning To Love". Let's get started!

First of all, I just want to say thanks for all of your support.

It means a lot to Cricket and I! Just let it be known that we don't want you feeling sorry for us. That's like telling someone who has a kid with autism that they can't do anything about it and it's a curse. Cricket isn't a curse! She's a gift. This is a learning experience for the both of us, and for the rest of Webkinz World, and we're going to get through this together.

Now, moving on to the entry.

Dr. Quack was very kind to do some research on Cricket's condition for us. We've been told the condition is called "Ricordarelafabbrica Disease". I know, I know. We couldn't pronounce it either, so instead, we just shortened it RFD. Anyway, apparently, it's incurable.

But, hey! This is not going to be taken as bad news. I promised Cricket that she will be the first Webkinz in Webkinz World history to be cured of this disease, and I'll do anything to keep my promise.

Now for the part of this entry that you've all been looking forward to hearing about: Cricket. Cricket is still, of course, afraid and timid, but she's actually already letting me hold onto her when I go to sleep at night. To me, that's a huge improvement. However, I can't get too excited just yet. The smallest mistake I make could bring the both of us right back to where we started. I have to be careful.

Oh, and here comes the worst part of this entry: the goodbye.

See? Saying goodbye is worse than finding out Cricket's disease is "incureable". Thinking positive is what's going to get me through this, so you guys should do the same.

Once again, thank you for your support, and now it's time for me to end this entry with a picture! *searches for a picture* Ah. Here's a good one. It shows another good improvement...

It's very kind of you to do whatever it takes to keep your promise to make Cricket learn to love humans again. Incurable; you'll show Dr. Quack!

I'm also happy to hear that Cricket improved, I love holding Hunter at night, he's so soft and it makes us both happy and we bond. I think that's a good step for you and Cricket.

And you're very smart to think positive, that's the way to go!

And (AWWWWW!) that picture is so cute!

Great! Hunter's thinking of starting his own "pack". I keep telling him he's way too young, especially if he wants to be the leader. He has a bunch of wild dreams...
