Just A Quick Intro...

Welcome to my picture thread! What is a picture thread, you ask? It is a thread where one will take pictures of their webkinz, and then post them with a story attached to it! They can be about pretty much anything - random, funny, dramatic, suspenseful, whatever the heck you want! I first fell in love with making picture stories back in March of 2008. Believe it or not, I had two picture story threads before this one, but they got closed after the first update because they didn't have enough comments on them, and I sorta forgot to update them. Anyway, I never thought this thread would end up being as successful as it is today, but boy was I wrong! Just look at the amount of posts, the amount of views, the rating, and when it was first opened! This thread has gone over a year without ever being closed, so that is quite the accomplishment! Anyway, I am hoping that you are now going to keep reading, and I hope you enjoy reading about my slightly insane webbies!

About Me

Like my self-portrait? It actually kinda looks like me, except for the hair. My hair doesn't stand up like that, but I like to draw myself to look that way. Anyhow, I'm Koalakinzforever, but by all means, call me KKF. Koalakinzforever is just far too long, while KKF is short and simple. And I am positive that you already knew this, but I am a GIRL. As far as my age goes, I cannot tell you exactly, but I am a teenager whose birthday is on February 13. Oh, and I'm Canadian, eh? I am also an extremely busy person. I dance, I skate, I play basketball, I go out of town a lot, I have a job as a salesperson, and I do volunteer work for the community every now and again. If you shove all that into one person, they barely have any free time. So if you were ever wondering why I can't update this thread super frequently, well, that's why. Anywhoo, that's basically me!

Pronunciations

Okay, I realize that some of my webbies have pretty crazy names, and some might be hard to pronounce. I realize I never told you people how to pronounce ANY of them, so you might be getting some of them wrong. Luckily, I am adding a little pronunciation guide for you, so you will now be able to pronounce all of my webbies' names!

**Some names have two pronunciations. The ones that say "Frenchie" next to them are the French pronunciation. The ones that say "Anglo-fied" are, well, Anglo-fied. They're the English-ish pronunciation, I suppose.

About My Webbies

My webbies are unique. Some of them have little careers, and some of them have weird little quirks that set them aside from all the others. If you see some of my webbies acting a certain way, it can be kind of confusing if you haven't heard about who they are, so in this little section, you can read about who my webbies are, if they have some sort of unique quality.

Simeon: A head therapist. My webbies enjoy torturing me, so Simeon offers anger management therapy sessions in order to stop some of this chaos. He also trains webbies so that they can become therapists, and he trains therapists so they can train the therapists in training.
Babette: Another head therapist. She and Simeon started this therapy thing together, because at the time, they were the only ones who didn't like to torture me. She basically does the same thing as Simeon.
Pascal: Yet another head therapist. He likes to keep himself undercover at times, for the stubborn webbies who won't agree to recieving therapy.
Yvette: Assistant therapist. Yvette is able to give therapy, and she can also train therapists in training. She is currently in training to become a head therapist, so that she can train therapists to be like her now.
Camille: Therapist. She can only give therapy, and that's it. She can't train therapists in training. Regular therapists can only give therapy.
Caleb: Therapist.
Garneau: Therapist.
Bertille: Therapist.
Chantal: Therapist. She is also very clever, and she can think of the seemingly unthinkable.
Lucie-Maude: Therapist. She can also read minds in the right environments. Her favourite mind-reading spot is the living room. Other webbies' thoughts are very clear to her there.
Wandeline-Tumet: Therapist. She also has an anger/temper problem. Don't get on her nerves, or she'll explode. She also used to be mean, but therapy helped her with that. Oh, and she has her own blog on this thread.
Georgette: Can predict the weather.
Belle-Cecille: Speaks little English. French is her native tongue. She also knows some sort of 'home skillet' language.
Wang Meng: A real tomboy. Also a paramedic. And the only webbie who has their own car.
Yvonna: Camera shy.
Portia: Afraid of the colour pink. Also has insomnia, as noted in "Portia the Insomniac," a mini update.
Bijou: Wants to be a swimsuit model.
Soleil-Tempest: Very paranoid about safety.
Garcelle: Likes to stick stuff on her head.
Patrice: LOVES socks.
Rolande: Always doing magic stuff and teleporting herself, but she stinks at it. She never goes where she wants to go. Her failed magic tricks usually result in "Doggone-it!"
Ringo: Too curious for his own good.
Kenny: A doctor.
Courtney: A doctor.
Parnella: A doctor.
Leone-Genevie: A doctor. The one who will do search and recue when need be.
Duke: A CLAWP. CLAWP is an acronym for Cool Looking Awesome Webkinz Police. Duke is the head CLAWP.
Burdett: A CLAWP.
Bertrand: A CLAWP.
Silvain: A CLAWP. Also cold all the time.
Welline: A.K.A "Welline the Weakness Queen." She can figure out anybody's weakness. Ske can figure out how to make them mad, how to make them sleep, how to make them laugh, how to make them cry, you name it!

Thomas: Says "Choo choo" after absolutely everything.

Ideas

Okay, I'm sure many of you know that I am not an endless flow of good ideas. I have writers block quite often, more often than you may expect. If you do not want my writers block to affect how often you see new updates, and you have a good idea that you want to be transformed into an update on this thread, you can feel free to PM or VM me with your brilliant idea. I'll keep your idea in mind, and if I use it, I'll be sure to give you credit! I try to use every idea I recieve, but if you dont see your idea up here right away, I'm probably just saving it up for when I have it all planned out. When I recieve an idea, I always think about how I can use it, and some just come to me more quickly than others. So just be patient, and hopefully I can get your ideas up here!

Cool Features

Okay, you saw these features here first. The ever-popular shoutouts and ads, and the not-so-popular hugs and smiles. I started the shoutout and ad thing quite some time ago, so I could be different, and stand out. However, after a while, my plan had gone down the toilet, so I then decided to start the hugs, which lead to the smiles, and chances are, they might become popular at some point, too!
Anyway, enough idle chit-chat, lemme tell you how these things work!

Shoutouts

Ever wished that my webbies would go out of their way to say a quick hello to you? Well, your wish can come true! At the end of an update, one or two of my webbies will say a quick hello to you and/or your webbies! Just fill out the form, PM or VM it to me, and then your shoutout will be posted when my webbies and I get around to it!

Ads

Okay, so my picture thread has gotten pretty popular. A lot of people look at it, a lot of people comment on it. Ever feel like your pic thread or blog is being ignored? Ever wish you could spread the word about your thread someway...somehow? Wish no longer! I will advertise your thread at the end of one of my updates! Just fill out the form, PM or VM it to me, and the ad will be up!

Hugs

To you, my webbies probably look loveable and huggable and whatnot. Well, not in my case, but in your case, yes. They would love to give you a great big hug. So, if you would like, two or four of my webbies will pass on a friendly hug at the end of an update. Two webbies is just a regular hug, and four webbies is a group hug. Just fill out the form, PM or VM it to me, and then my webbies can hug you!

The Happy Dance

Okay, the official picture thread happy dance was started by me, and it kinda ended up being a popular thing without any intentions. Anyway, it all started when Kat reached #1 in the picture thread world, and so I said we should dance to celebrate, and so I looked for some sort of dancing image, and I found the pirfect picture. When I posted it, the happpy dance was born. When I reached #2 in the picture thread world, Kat posted the happy dance on my thread, and then once I remembered about that thing, I posted it a few more times, and then, I officially declared that from that day forward, those little dancing stickmen would be the picture thread happy dance.

So, if you have a picture thread, and you make some sort of big accomplishment, you can post the happy dance, or if someone else makes some sort of big accomplishment, you can post the happy dance on their thread.

The Webkinz Exchange Program

The Webkinz Exchange Program (or WEP) is an idea that Sara (Sararoxmysox) and I came up with in the summer of 2009. It is a little thing where two picture threaders choose one webbie to visit the other picture threader's house for a period of time. Now, we had a lot of people ask how we exchanged webbies, but that is for us to know, and you to figure out for yourself if you would like to use this idea. I don't mind at all if you want to use this idea, but if you do, it would be a good idea to give credit to Sara and I, just so you don't make yourself look silly.

KKF's Schedule

Okay, I am a very busy person. I have a life outside of WI, so I may not always be online. I don't have a whole lot to do in the summer, but when it's school time, there is a lot that I must do. If you are ever wondering what I am doing when I'm not online, you can look at this schedule to see what I might be up to that day. I am NOT going to post times on here, because if I had something from 3:30-4:30, or something like that, I don't want anybody to have an anxiety attack if Im not online right at 4:30. Sooo, to prevent that from happening, I am not posting any times.
