~The About's~

About Me: Hello everyone! My name is Sarah. I have been a picture threader since January of 2009. This is the only picture thread I have ever had opened and I'm proud that it has never gotten closed down. I have many webkinz and you will learn all about them within this thread. I am very busy. I play the violin, have teachers that enjoy giving out a ton of homework, and many other things. But, I do get on whenever I can. I live in the lovely state of New York and my birthday is on October 1st. That's about all right now! So, have fun exploring everything this thread has to offer!

My Story: One day, I went over to my friend's house. She started talking about a stuffed animal that came with a secret code. You then put it online and you could play with it. I was a little confused at first, so she ran over, picked up her pink poodle plushie, and went to webkinz.com. She showed me the games they had and all of the different things you could do with this toy. I was hooked. My friend said you could get them at Hallmark. When I went home, I told my mom that we just had to go look at them and see what they were. So she took me and my sister there. Hallmark only had 2 types of webkinz. A googles and a polar bear. I got the googles and my little sister got the polar bear. When we got home, I snipped the tag off and went to webkinz.com. After making my account, I played for hours that day. It was amazing! I was thrilled that you could play with other people on it and even have your own stuffed animal character! And from those couple hours of playing, I became hooked!


About this thread: There are 4 main different types of updates I post on this thread.
1. Updates- Here is your general picture story, showing action of the wacky adventures my webkinz have.
2. Blogs- Every now and then, my webkinz will post blog entries. Some of them are informative, some are just nonsense. They may talk about their day, share information, etc. There may be a picture with it, but there also may not be.
3. Biographies (bios for short) about my webkinz. These talk about my webkinz's favorite things, how I got them, etc. I would like to have all of them have a bio very soon.
4. KinzTime Newz (known as KTN) is now weekly. There will be a new episode every week. These are usually posted on the weekends. Kinztime Newz does not have a certain time it will be posted. I will post KTN when something interesting happens. KTN has news about Webkinz World, Webkinz Insider, WebkinzNewz, and things happening at my house. For example, if I get a new webkinz they will be interviewed. And now, it will not only be Riley hosting and there will be more webkinz involved

Extra Information About Some of These Webkinz:
1. Blitzen is an official reindeer of Santa Claus. He helps pull his sleigh every Christmas.
2. Though,as seen in updates, I call some webkinz by little nicknames, don't be afraid to give them one of your own. I'll probably know who you're talking about.
3. Moomoo has been to Blackie_Lab2003's house and her Shuffle has been to mine.
4. Sandy is twins with Blackie_Lab2003's webkinz, Lacey.
5. Some of my webkinz are always wearing a certain accessory. Some examples are: Kiki the Koala always wears a white, purple, green, and blue pattern scrunchie around her neck, Jetta the Black Cat always wears a black scarf that has polka dots all over, Pumpkin the Floppy Pig always wears a pumpkin costume, plus many more examples.


And the Non-Webkinz!
1. Raggedy Ann- Claims she is a certified pshychologist, certified doctor, and even a certified health trainer! Her target always seems to be Penny and lectures her about many different things, mainly about playing with Twitters. Besides Penny, the webkinz love Raggedy Ann but they all agree that she isn't a very good pschologist!
2. Shelly Calico- A home-made teddy bear that I made with help from my grandma. She is friends with everybody. She makes sure everyone is happy and will go the extra mile to make sure that happens.
3. Lavender Pup- Lavender Pup is the newest one to join our crew. She is pretty shy, but soon, someone will help her change that. Maybe a....Certified Pshychologist?
4. Goomba- My little brother's stretchy frog. He can be pretty stubborn because the webkinz enjoy stretching him, which he has to constantly remind them that he does not enjoy it.
5. Thumper- Thumper is a stuffed animal I got a few yrs. ago in Walt Disey World. He is easy going and playful. He is very good friends with Cottontail the Lil kinz Rabbit.

Sarah and the Webkinz have reached 2000 posts! We'd like to thank everyone who has posted on this thread, for you guys motivated me to get this far! I think it is time for...Happy Dance!

~Extra Information~

If you have seen this thread, you have probably noticed that my webkinz aren't normal. My webkinz have a lot of characteristics about them, NOT DISORDERS, that make them wacky. (Note: I did not take any of these personalities from anybody else. Quackers liking things clean and Blitzen wanting to pull Santa's sleigh have been like that way before I started WI. How? Well waaaaay before I started Webkinz Insider, me and my friends would take our webkinz and make wacky stories with them, which has inspired some of my updates. So even if other webkinz out there have same personalities, I did not take it from them.) Quackers is a clean-freak. She loves everything to be clean and organized. Penny has Twitters the squirrel following her everywhere because on Webkinz World, his biography said he was pals with a penguin. Carnival is a big health-nut who bugs everyone to exercise and be healthy. It can get pretty annoying. Sally and Mr. Wiggles LOVE the water and if they see water, oh boy. Pumpkin is pretty wacky and out of control. She loves to have fun and is really good pals with Roo. Chickiepoo forgets things easily. And Pokey just love M&Ms. You give him anything with M&Ms, he is sure to love it. And, we just discovered that Sandy, my yellow lab, is twins with Blackie_Lab2003's yellow lab, Lacey. It's a small world after all! Those are just a few of the many characteristics of my webkinz.

Some tips to have a good picture thread are to have your webkinz have characteristics. Above are some of the characteristics of mine. Remember characteristics doesn't mean having disorders! Also, you may want to start an update notification club. The people that are in it obviously really like your thread and they want to be able to see the new updates. Become friends with a lot of nice people too. They will probably check out your thread. Make sure your updates have an easy to read font. Don't make it really tiny or a color like yellow. Have fun with it too! Don't get worked up if your thread doesn't get replies all the time. It all takes time for a thread to grow.

- Remember to leave comments! Comments make me feel great. They let me know that people are really enjoying this thread and they motivate me to keep going! You may think that comments are nothing to me, but they really are. When I get on and I don't see comments after I post an update or something, I get sad. Do not post ANY mean comments or I will get them deleted.Rate my thread too! Please don't give mean ratings, either.
- If you have any ideas for updates, PLEASE let me know! I love hearing from people for ideas. I will give you credit for it, too! If I forget to give you credit, let me know.
- If you see an idea you really like, please do not do the exact same concept. Also, please give me credit for it. Even if you do not do the exact same concept, you got inspired by me so please say so. For example, I made several people to updates about loofahs. Just tell me what webkinz you want to hold up the sheet of paper and what you want the paper to say! I also do them when the webkinz sits there and says the ad. (Go to "An Ad For Emscales" under the "Update List" for an example) The last way I do them is called a "Chat Ad" This is when a webkinz talks to another webkinz about the picture thread. You also must send me the link of your thread for all ads. Did I forget to do your ad? If I did, I'm sorry! Just let me know and I will do it.

Wednesday. January 6th (2010!)- I hope that you guys enjoyed our holiday special. It was my first holiday special and I had so much fun, especially combining it with Kat. I can't wait 'til next year! Can you believe that on Sunday, it will be this thread's first anniversary? (Or birthday. Whatever you want to call it ;-)

Friday, April 2nd- Happy Good Friday! I will post the Good Friday update later today, which will be the beginning of the Easter updates.

Saturday May 28- Summer shall be here soon. I have 10 more school days, not counting weekends. My last day is the 14th, and I go in on the 16th until 11:30 for two finals. Then, I'll be posting a ton of updates!

Sunday- June 13th- I did some organizing today! I made the Update List up-to-date, cleared reminderz and events from last year in this section, and plan on starting to send notifications regularly to the Notification List. Ahhh, it feels good to be organized. xD

Wednesday- June 16th- Last day of schooool! This means many more updates!

Saturday- June 26th- Wow. We've reached 2000 posts! I NEVER thought this thread would be this successful. Thank you SO much everyone!

What is your webkinz username? Can I be your friend?

My username is quackerjack1. I thought username meant pet name so I put in quackerjack (that was gonna be Waddles' name when I was gonna make her a boy) It didn't let me so I made it quackerjack1. I realized it was my account name so I just made my googles Waddles. And sure! I will be your friend! I have a couple spaces left. But, you need to tell me who you are. Let me know what your username is so I know who I am accepting to.

So, how did you get into WI. You have said that you joined, then got off.

I joined WI in July. Before that, I came on here ALL the time to read info about webkinz. I got on, made a couple of friends, and posted stuff. I stayed on for about a week, and then we went on vacation. When we got back, I never got on it again. Then, I got back on, I think a day before Christmas Eve, and I started getting more involved with the forums and stuff and I made TONS of friends. This eventually motivated me to make a picture thread and now I am really into WI.

When did you start wanting to make a picture thread? Who inspired you?

When I first joined. I read all of the stories that people posted about their webkinz. I thought it looked like tons of fun. I got off and took pictures of my webkinz. (You can see the pictures I took of them in the update Random Pictures) I didn't know how to though so I didn't. When I got back on in December, I made a thread asking how you get your pictures on. I got great responses back and I was ready to go. The people who inspired me were the people who had picture threads then. Those were the ones I read and that is what made me want to make a picture thread!

How long have you been a member on webkinz?

How come if you visit your MyPage, it says you have more webkinz than you really have.

Well, my little brother Mikey decided to get webkinz because of the stuffed animal. So me and my sister Katie decided to split is webkinz up between our accounts. So I have 4 of his webkinz on my account. But now, by little brother has an account with one webkinz on it. His username is CaptainMike100, so you can ask him to be your friend if you want. (;

I don't have plans to open up a blog thread or anything.

Why didn't you do an update today?!?!?

I am busy with school, way busier than last year. Please do not annoy me about it. That will just make you have to wait even longer for an update. I have a life outside of WI. I do feel bad when I don't post an update all the time, but my life is just so busy with homework and studying, plus other activities. Here is a general idea of my schedule so you can have an idea of why I'm not on or something.

I have a craving today. I want colorful. I want something hat starts with the letter oh I don't know, M. (I LIKE that letter!) But most of all, something CHOCOLATE!!

"Only the awesomest things EVER! They are colorful, hocolately, and you can even throw them in the air and catch them with your mouth!"

"Wow! Where can I get some?" "Hmm.. I don't know." "Hey guys! What's wrong?" "We can't find M&Ms!"

"I know where we can get some! Sarah has some stashed in her kitchen! Let's get some!"

While they were gone, Chickiepoo came by.

"Wow! Look at all of these M&Ms!"

Now knowing that they were Roo's, Pearl's, and Pokey's, she took them.

"Where did our M&Ms go?!"

"Hey guys! What's up?"

"Chickiepoo, have YOU seen our M&Ms?"

Chickiepoo, who is rather forgetful, said,

"No guys. Can't say I have. I'll keep an eye out for them!"

To this day, no one knows who took the M&Ms, not even Chickiepoo.
