So once upon a time a long time ago on the same planet you are living on right now (unless you come from Planet Xenas like some of the little guys here) a girl called Kat (and not Katie) got inspired by a bunch of people one night to make a Webkinz picture thread. Then with some encouragement from chatterbox4eva39, puncuation, and 1luvpuppies the thread was ADOPTED! (Not born. Born is boring. But that doesn't make much sense...but OH WELL.)

Hi. I am Kat. And I am not a dummy! Wait, no...

Hi! I'm Kat, and this is my Meet My Webkinz Family thread! This thread will contain a bunch of information, blog entries, and picture stories about my (very large) Webkinz family (but a bunch of the times I like to focus around my Beagle, Shona, and her family and friends). This thread can be seen as a big storybook, a big diary, a TV show, or even just a big library. This thread is a mix of comedy, some drama, and a tad of science fiction so it is quite enjoyable!

And yes, this thread contains over 15,000 pictures. Yes, I counted. How did I get to this point? Simple. I HAVE NO LIFE. This is the only thing I figured out what to do with my empty life and it is suiting me WELL. If your wondering about all those pictures, I use a Nikon Coolpix S3100 (since 2011; I originally used a Nikon Coolpix S210 in 2009/2010 and I used a Sony Cybershot in 2008.) and Photobucket's services to get them all up here.

So, if you ever have a bad day, or if you're just so absolutely bored you're ready to scream, just get comfy and click a random page and start scrolling through or click a random link on the update list.

And if you're planning to sit and read through this whole thing, grab a can or two Coca Cola, because you'll be here a couple days...

Meet My Webkinz Family!
In this thread you can learn all about my Webkinz through any of the updates (but especially the Biographies, posts dedicated to introducing a certain Webkinz).

Picture Stories
Stories that (usually unless they deal with adopting a Webkinz) have a plot (Picture Stories are longer and have more of a plot while Mini Picture Stories are shorter and have less of a plot) and such told through either real-life pictures (pictures taken inside my house and in the real world) or virtual pictures (pictures taken in my Webkinz house and the rest of Webkinz World). There are also Bonus Pictures that are just made up of a single picture that are posted once in a while. There are some picture story segments such as...
Picture This News - where Sir Charlie the Porcupine and the rest of the PTN crew report on some kind of news happening!
Lacey's Blog - where Lacey the Yellow Lab blogs about her wacky life with her best friends (Nicole and Lily), her twin sister (Sarah's Sandy), her stalker (Blanco), and other people in her life (like Tropical Banana).
Judge Jenny - when something doesn't go their way, the Webkinz sue! And who's the judge? Jenny the Pink Googles!

The Blog
A journal/diary entry that the Webkinz post on the thread to give you guys an update on what's going on in their lives (in Blog Entries or just Quick Updates which are very quick updates that are kinda like Twitter tweets). There are blog entry segments such as...
Madeline's Diary - when my Black Lab, Madeline, writes in her little notebook diary I shall post pictures of the pages of her latest nonsense.
Dearest Shuffle - just a blog segment where Shuffle the Toco Toucan shares letters he's recently received from his Canadian relatives or he talks about his daughter, Amelia.
You and Me Together - where my first Webkinz, Chloe the Poodle, talks about their wacky adventures and sometimes our cute little first Webkinz-Webkinz owner connection.
Ladies' Night - every Friday night the female Webkinz of the house like to have a little fun night where they just do crazy stuff and they like to blog about it too.
We Built This City - Carlos the Chihuahua and Parkee the Pug like to blog about their crazy adventures and such they have together as brotherly best friends.
Sweet Dreams - if I have any insane dreams involving Webkinz (which I do a lot), Monroe the Signature Timber Wolf will blog about it.
Who's Your Doggy? - Madeline the Black Lab and Cottonball the Cotton Candy Bunny blog about their dog, Cliffo-er I mean Rover.

I tend to say some very strange things or things you may not understand. Maybe this dictionary will make it easier for you.
thread = a topic/thread (blog/picture thread) in this section
picture thread = a thread where people post picture stories
blog = an online diary
update = a picture story/blog entry on a thread
Webkinz Exchange Program (WEP) = (concept created by Koalakinzforever and Sararoxmysox) where Webkinz switch houses for a special update (and I mean real-life houses too)
Accidental Webkinz Exchange (AWE) = where there are accidental WEPs (please refer to the Christmas 2009 update of mine and Sarah's to understand)
Kat-Tastic = an adjective used to describe things that are awesome to me
KatKinz Years = an age system that tells how old a Webkinz is in my mind
"Aw, sugar nuggets!" - an exclamation I use (an original phrase created by me) when something bad happens
"lazy beluga whale" = a name Chloe calls me when she's frustrated with me
"What the tennisballs?" - an exclamation used for when something strange happens

Q: Why does this thread have over 10,000 posts and 75 tags?
A: Because this thread used to be three separate threads. I worked really hard to get a lot of updates on each thread and each thread also reached the tag limit (25 tags). If you have less than 1,000 separate updates on your thread (and a majority of them aren't hardly worked on and didn't cause you to loose sleep) and you seriously think you should have more replies than I do, please don't talk to me.

Q: Have you ever thought about closing this big, merged-up thread and starting a new one?
A: I just got caught up on linking all the updates. I also have a ton of bios to work on and stuff to post. I am not just going to start over and reset all my hard work. Plus, what if I ended up getting merged again? It's also just a ton easier to have everything on one thread too.

Q: How much longer do you think you'll be picture threading?
A: I have an idea in mind when I'm going to borderline-stop (and that's going to be years from now) but I'm going to go as long as I can. (And I seriously have a finale in mind for when that point does come.)

Q: Is threading still fun after a few years?
A: What do you think? Do you honestly think I would do my best to keep this thread open if I didn't like picture threading? Although I admit the section isn't as fantastic as it was in 2009/2010 or so, I still enjoy this optional hobby.

Q: How come you never adopt any of your Webkinz?
A: I have this big fear of losing Gummy for good so the stock-up of unadopted Webkinz calms my nerves because that means my account and my brothers' will be safe for a few more years.
(Edit: Now that accounts don't expire anymore, I will adopt a lot more of my Webkinz whenever I have time.)

Q: What's your Webkinz World username? Can I add you?
A: If you'd like to add me, please PM me first telling me your username and I'll give you mine. I'm just keeping safe on WW.

Q: Kat, for some reason, I can't find you on my friend list!
A: A while ago I deleted anyone I didn't recognize at first glance. Its nothing personal; just me being paranoid. If you'd like to be on my friend list again, please PM me.

Q: Kat! I can't see your photos! It says that bandwidth is exceeded!
A: Every month I can have a certain amount of views on my photos on here. If I exceed the limit, PB disables my photos for the rest of the month. If this happens, I have 4 PB accounts to upload photos too. And no, I will not upgrade to premium service because it costs money I don't have.

Q: Can I make a thread too?
A: Just because my thread has the most replies doesn't mean I control this forum or that I was the first. Go ahead. I don't care.

Q: Can I use one of your ideas (disorder, story idea, etc.)?
A: I honestly don't care. As long as you're not copying and pasting my content I don't care. Some credit though would be appreciated. Just please don't do a PTI because that would cause a lot of confusion. You can do something similar, just don't use aliens or call it PTI.

Q: Hey Kat...do you want to make an update with me?
A: As long as it has nothing to do with twins/biological relatives or Webkinz Exchange Programs (and ideas that don't include that are possible so don't whine about that)...PM me your ideas and we'll see what we can do! (And please only request to do a collaboration because you think it will be fun and not for some kind of big popularity quest.)

A: I update weekly and whenever else I can.

Q: How do you know you've posted 17,000 pictures?
A: Because I counted myself using my clicker (because I stink at counting). There's an update about it on this thread somewhere.

Q: Kat, how on God's green Earth do you and several other picture threaders pull off Webkinz Exchange Programs/Accidental Webkinz Exchanges?
A: We have magical powers that can pull off anything. (And don't even bother PMing me or someone else yourself asking because we're not gonna tell you. :3)

Q: What happened to *insert character/storyline here*? Is it discontinued?
A: A character and its story is never ended or dropped. This isn't like a high school soap opera where I only have a certain amount of time with someone and then I have to ship them off the show and end their storyline forever. This thread and everything in it is very continuous. If there isn't a story about a certain Webkinz (or anyone else that appears on the thread) for a while, I'm either waiting for a good idea for a storyline or a good way to continue on a storyline to come to me, or I have a good idea for them but I'm waiting for the time to execute it. (And please note, I have a lot of little guys so not everyone can appear in every update.)

My Webkinz House Isn't Much of a House. IT'S A DANG MANSION, MAN! Don't Call it a House, Call it a Mansion, Because it's a Mansion. (And I Will Update That to My Mansion's Thread Soon.) Anyway, if You Saw Some Really Cool Rooms in the Updates, and You Wanna Check Them Out Yourself, Drop Me a PM and Ask to Come Over. You Could Also Stop By the Saturday Parties at My Place. (Every Saturday I Hold a Party, Organized on My Profile.) There's a Bunch of Cool Rooms in My Mansion, But Note, a LOT of Them Aren't Finished!

Types of Updates
On This Thread, I Make 3 Types of Update: Real-Life, Virtual, and Video. (Videos Are Considered Real-Life Unless They're Taping Me Playing on Webkinz.) Real-Life is When I Take Pictures of My Plushes Walking Around the Real World. Virtual is When I Take Screenshots of My Webkinz in Webkinz World. And Video, is Just Videos of My Webkinz. So, That's it.

Lacey's Blog
Every Saturday, I Post an Update Which is Narrated By Lacey. This is Called Lacey's Blog and Lacey Tells About What Happened to Her During the Week. It's Mostly Just a Post Long, But Yeah. So, Now Every Saturday is Lacey's Saturday! And By the Way, if I Couldn't Get to Lacey's Blog One Saturday, Then it's Moved to Sunday.

Picture This News
Every Sunday, Sir Charlie Hosts a Normally Post-Long Update of New Stuff Happening in Webkinz World, Thread News, and WEATHER IN MY AREA! If Picture This News Doesn't Come Up on Sunday, it Will Be Moved to Monday or Cancelled For the Week.

You All Know About Webkinz Cares Animals, Right? They Are Sold at Walgreens, and a Seal With a Red Tag is Sold at Your Retailers. There's More to Them Than Just the Cheap Price and Red Tags With Cool Stuff. When You Go to the Webkinz Foundation Website, Which Part of the Money Earned From a WCares Animal Sold Goes to, Says That They're Going to Pledge Money Towards an Autism Research Foundation. A: Yeah, Sure! I Can't Control the Production of Picture Threads! Also, a Lot of the Newer Threads Say They Were Inspired By Me! Also, Karebear36 Was the First Person to Create One, and She Said "I Was Sad to See More, But at Least I Can Still Be the First!". Plus, Karebear36, is, Kinda, Gone. So, Yeah.

Q: One of Your Updates REALLY Inspired Me! Can I Make an Update Like it?
A: I See So Many Picture Stories Similar to Mine Every Day. I Have TOO Many Updates to Say "Hey! That's MY Idea!" If I Inspired You, That's Great. I'm Also Inspired By Other People too. You Can Make Updates Like Mine. Just Don't Make Them Direct Copies. (Direct Copy Examples: Buying a Whimsy Dragon and a Lil' Monkey, and Naming them Lily and Joey, and Making a Dora the Explorer Spoof. Then Make Them Go Look For a Ball. Q: Can You Notify Me Whenever You Update?
A: Yes. Just Join the Update Notification Club.

Q: Is That the Rest of the Update? Is There More?
A: Well, it Seems to Get Confusing Since I Stopped Putting "More on Next Post"s on Multi-Part Updates. If You Need to Know if it's a Multi-Part Update, Check the Title of the Update. Is There a "(Part 1)" or Something Like That in it? Also, to Know if the Updates Have Ended, Check the Bottom of the Post For a "Bye WI!". If the Bottom of the Post Says "Bye WI!", it's Done. If Not, Give Me Time. The Rest Will Be Up Soon. The Only Time I WILL NOT Post a "Bye WI!" is on the Bonus Pictures (It Will Say "Bonus Picture" in the Title) or on Updates Like "The 12 Days of Christmas."

A: Please Understand That There Are Some Days That I Can't Notify You. Usually When I Update, I Usually Just Put Up the Pictures and That's it. A: Since My Autistic Brothers Can Handle Crowds, My Mom Takes Advantage of This, So I Get Pulled to Places Often. I Also Have a Schedule Posted Up Under "List of Stuff." So, if I'm Not Online Tuesday After School, it's Pretty Obvious That I HAVE ART CLUB. And, if I'm Not Online on Saturday Morning, it's Pretty Obvious THAT I'M EITHER AT SIB GROUP, OR CCD THEN BASKETBALL CLASS THEN MY GRANDMA'S.

Q: Why Are Lou and Hershica Registered on Your Brother's Account?
A: Because When We First Started on Webkinz, I Registered Their First Pets on My Account Because I Thought They Weren't Going to Bother to Take Care of Their Pets, and Ended Up They Got REALLY Addicted and We Were Fighting Over it, So the Next Time We Got Webkinz, My Mom Asked Me to Give Them Their Own Accounts, and I Was Like "Oh, I Will!". Man, Those Boys Messed Up My Rooms and One of the Pets Got SICK! Now They Have Their Own Accounts and Their Pets Never Get Sick, But They Never Play. So, to Even it Out, I registered Some of My Pets on Jack's Account, and I'll Eventually Register One to Scott's Account to Save His Account. Whatever Webkinz I Get This Summer, Will Be Registered on His Account Because it Expires this September and He's Lost Interest. Anyway, the Reason For Hershica Being on Jack's Account is Because He's Always Wanted a Chocolate Lab, and the Reason For Lou is Because He Was DYING For an Underwater Room, and Me Waiting Would Be Easier Handled Than Him Saying "YOU'RE SO LUCKY!" 3,000 Times.
