I got two Zum buddies!

I was out the other day doing a mall crawl, looking for those blasted Zum buddies. I essentially papered the mall with my phone number!

It paid off because tonight I got a call that my local Hallmark got them in, woo hoo! I promptly hopped in the car and ran over and got two, a Giggly Zum and a Zippy Zum. I put the codes in my account and ran straight to the new Zumwhere feature to see what I could play.

My Zippy Zum, Zed, is really easy to keep happy. Give that guy a soccer ball and he will bounce it around for hours!

My Giggly Zum, Zool, is like the whiniest kid sister you can imagine. No matter what I gave her, she was miserable. Finally, she started telling me (with an emoticon over her head) what she wanted to play with and I got her up to 100% happy. Then, since both of my buddies were 100% happy at the same time and in the same room, they threw a party! (See photo) I didn't get the promised "shower of zummies" though, I'm not sure what I did wrong.

There's not really too much to do with this new feature except play with and feed your Zum buddies, so it's a little disappointing when you don't get the "shower of zummies". (I started off with 20 of each and that hasn't increased) I hope this new feature gets more interesting in the future, because while it is so cool to hear your Zum say "Wow, cool!" when you give them a new toy, it gets old very quickly.

Congrats! Sorry, about not getting your zummies. Wait, aren't the zummie colors yellow, red, blue, and green, not blue, yellow, purple, and pink?

I'm sorry about you now getting your shower of zummies! Maybe they will improve the feature so it's easier to use

I'm pretty sure the blue, yellow, purple, and pink zummies are for the new feature "The Z shop" where you can buy furniture, food, ect. for your pet. You can also buy REALLY cool prizes for yourself (for your normal webkinz pets). And the yellow, red. blue, and green zummies are for the Zum Catalog.

skipper..... what a truly adorable picture!!! i hope that the game gets better or it will get old quickly for a lot of people.

i have to call my hallmark today and see if they got any. i only want one to start to see what is all about before i spend a fortune and then say hmmmmmmmmm........

The Zum buddies game has different color zummies so no, you can't "mix and match" and it won't make getting the catalog prizes any faster. Bummer, that.

I have yet to play with my Zum buddies today (too busy looking for the ghost!) so I can't update you guys yet on whether the zummies total is increasing, but as soon as I do I will let you know.

Update: on my second two-zum party today, my zippy zum gave me five zummies! Now I have 25 zummies. What a shame everything costs like ten times that in the Z-Shop!

I have a question though. You see how there is a pegasus in the background?
Is that your pet, because I have seen I picture with a poodle there as well.
