AN UNINFORMED QUESTION for those smarter than i am........

I HAVE AN UNINFORMED QUESTION that id like help with .......................

with the KA CLASSES ---------- can you fail them with one pet and then have to take another, therby making the first pet unable to ever get a diploma?

like, lets say i fail the running class for 10 tries in a row, will my pet fail for good?

im getting a bit worried about my skill with the running class . i want to stick with it but im wondering if i can fail out of the class with buster than i should maybe take the tutor so to at least get my first prize......... im only on level three or four i think.......................or if perhaps after failing 6 times i should do the tutor????????

Hi Basmat,

Each pet works towards his/her own diploma. So you can potentially get as many diplomas as you have pets.

Each pet must also complete and graduate Level 10 of all 6 basic classes to attain this diploma.... this is the tricky part. Some people are really good at certain classes but other classes are difficult for them to succeed at. However, you must graduate all 6 of these regardless, so it may take some struggling (Fashion and Agility for me are the real kickers.... yet I find Intelligence and Strength Training the easiest).

As far as I know, you can fail a class numerous tries and not get kicked back a level; Academy is not like the Employment Office. I have failed Agility countless times but I managed to get my pet through it eventually with some persistence.

What I find helped me out was to take several pets through the same classes at once- it gives you 'practice' on getting better at those classes and also will knock your class reduction down rapidly when they all make it to Level 10.

LIKMFURRY----thank you for that explanation. buster has gotten through his creativity. so i know as the levels increase it gets harder. with that one i did well since i am the creative type, so i didnt fail a lot of times in a row like i am now. so what you are saying is i wont get KICKED OUT of the class if i dont succeed many times in a row but i will get DROPPED DOWN A LEVEL............... is that correct?

does anyone know how many times you fail and then you get dropped down a level?

I do not know, however, maybe you could take the tutorial for a little extra kc? I have heard that if you play multiple videos, like from youtube, on your computer while you are tking a class, it slows it down a little. I am going to try that for agility - it gets really hard to pass after you get to the 3rd level!!!

As far as I know, your pet won't get kicked down a level for failing too much.

And I think you can only use the tutor through level 9 of classes-------- so if you want webbies to graduate, at level 10 you would need to take and pass the classes.

There are some guides for KA classes in this forum. You should check them out if you haven't already. They may have tips that will help you get better at classes. I know that there are some great tips on painting class.

This is correct, your pet will NOT get dropped down a level for failing too many classes.

Here is a little guide I wrote up once for passing Level 10 Agility. Level 8 and 9 are harder to get through than Level 10- so I went through them once and now I tutor the rest of my pets up on these to Level 10.

To get through level 10, it helps to know what's coming up and how fast your pet needs to be to clear the hurdles. Here's a breakdown and a few instructions:

START running at medium (default) speed.

Wave #1
YELLOW - jump this at medium speed
GREEN - jump this at medium speed
GREEN - hit both keys at once and clear it, plus speed your pet up at the same time
RED - hit the key right before your pet's head touches the top leg of the hurdle

hit the key once to slow your pet back down to medium speed

Wave #2
GREEN - jump this at medium speed
GREEN - jump this at medium speed
YELLOW - hit both keys at once to clear this and speed your pet up
RED - hit the jump key right before your pet's head reaches the top leg of the hurdle

hit the key to slow your pet down to SLOWEST speed

Wave #3
YELLOW - jump at slowest speed
GREEN - jump at slowest speed
GREEN - jump at slowest speed
GREEN - jump at slowest speed
YELLOW - Hit both keys at once to clear this and speed your pet up to medium speed

hit the key again immediately to speed your pet up to fastest speed!!

Wave #4
RED - hit the jump key (at fast speed) a bit earlier (a nanosecond earlier)
RED - hit the jump key when your pet's head reaches the top leg of the hurdle
DOUBLE YELLOWS - jump at fast speed, hit the jump key at the last possible nanosecond
DOUBLE GREENS - jump at fast speed, hit the jump key at the last possible nanosecond
RED - jump at fastest speed, hit the jump key a nanosecond early, right before your pet's ear reaches the top leg of the hurdle
