Note to self: stay out of the Academy at 9:00 am EST, 10:00am EST, 11:00am EST...

After about 7 repeat events of this over the course of a few weeks, I had better keep in mind that doing the Academy classes around 9:00am EST, 10:00am EST, 11:00am EST leaves me open for a failure due to GANZ's surprise server resets.

I had one more class to go this morning to complete Level 10 Style when suddenly I was booted out of the Academy, and then shoved into the Charm Forest with the grey logout box telling me to log out.

Of course this meant a failure in Style... plus no more Bonus classes to use up on it.

I was just about to continue my Academy classes here today at 9:00am EST (a few minutes ago) and it happened again... a surprise reset which booted me out. Good thing I hadn't started the class yet!

As you can see after this I started getting those weird gray dialog boxes...

I think GANZ needs to put an announcement about these things before they do it.

i never go to the academy, but they should close it when it won't work anyway.

I've had that happen when I was fairly new, and forgot about the midnight reset, which is only 9:00 out here on the west coast. I was so mad that it set me behind a whole class in the hairstyling....little did I know what a big commitment going to the academy was! One class seems like a drop in the bucket now!!!

I didn't take my own advice this morning- this is what happens on a surprise reset:

Your screen blanks out in the middle of what you were doing yet your dock stays visible:

Then you are sitting looking at a blue screen. When I went back into the Academy, the class I was working on is immediately a failure.

Then any dialog boxes you get from then on are those weird gray 'error-type' boxes.

if it weren't for these server errors, I would never fail any of the classes!

However, in today's case- this didn't exactly turn out to be a bad thing- after the reset I didn't log out and log back in like I usually do. Then I noticed when I went back to my room I started getting Fall Fest leaves every 6 minutes!

That is horrible!! I never knew that. :[ Unfortunately a lot of people don't know this and will fail!
