Hi Albert,

Here's the breakdown on class reductions:

The reduction gets applied based on the level your pet is currently on.

When the very first pet graduates Level 10 of any class, the amount of classes reduced is equal to the current level:

Level 1: 5 - (1) class = 4
Level 2: 10 - (2) classes = 8
Level 3: 15 - (3) classes = 12
Level 4: 20 - (4) classes = 16
Level 5: 25 - (5) classes = 20
Level 6: 30 - (6) classes = 24
Level 7: 35 - (7) classes = 28
Level 8: 40 - ( 8 ) classes = 32
Level 9: 45 - (9) classes = 36
Level 10: 50 - (10) classes = 40

The 2nd pet that graduates reduces the classes even further, based on how many classes were reduced to by the first pet passing:

Level 1: 4 - (1) class = 3
Level 2: 8 - (2) classes = 6
Level 3: 12 - (3) classes = 9
Level 4: 16 - (4) classes = 12
Level 5: 20 - (5) classes = 15
Level 6: 24 - (6) classes = 18
Level 7: 28 - (7) classes = 21
Level 8: 32 - ( 8 ) classes = 24
Level 9: 36 - (9) classes = 27
Level 10: 40 - (10) classes = 30

Once your 3rd pet graduates, this number is reduced further (again, it's based on what level it is and how many classes it was already reduced to):

Level 1: 3 - (1) class = 2
Level 2: 6 - (2) classes = 4
Level 3: 9 - (3) classes = 6
Level 4: 12 - (4) classes = 8
Level 5: 15 - (5) classes = 10
Level 6: 18 - (6) classes = 12
Level 7: 21 - (7) classes = 14
Level 8: 24 - ( 8 ) classes = 16
Level 9: 27 - (9) classes = 18
Level 10: 30 - (10) classes = 20

And finally, when your 4th pet graduates that class, the maximum reduction is applied (the number of classes per level will simply be whatever level it is):

Level 1: 2 - (1) class = 1
Level 2: 4 - (2) classes = 2
Level 3: 6 - (3) classes = 3
Level 4: 8 - (4) classes = 4
Level 5: 10 - (5) classes = 5
Level 6: 12 - (6) classes = 6
Level 7: 14 - (7) classes = 7
Level 8: 16 - ( 8 ) classes = 8
Level 9: 18 - (9) classes = 9
Level 10: 20 - (10) classes = 10

Not bad considering Level 10 used to be 50 classes... almost 2 months, down to just over a week.

Yes, it does very much. That is what I was thinking, but before I got to excited about Ganz being so generous with the reduction, I wanted to make sure. (Now if we could just get tuition reduced for multiple pets.) I have been developing the concept of virtual reality (specifically Webkinz) as therapy for adults with catastrophic diseases and am going to be presenting it late next month to some dept heads here at the college. And because my primary acct will be the demonstration acct I am adopting a couple extra webbies. I am so into education that of course, all my webbies go to KA every day (altho some Sundays they get to rest, at least during the summer) and of course any new webbies will be going to KA, although they will wait til they can get the full reduction. You're not wasting time because taking 4 pets through at the same time is the quickest way to get the class reduction. All the pets will get to the end of Level 10 together, taking the estimated 275 days together all at once, then as each one finishes it will knock off the specified amount of classes. This method saves the most time but costs the most KC because each pet pretty much has to follow the same amount of classes until they start completing Level 10.

On the other hand, if you take one pet through at a time, saving the most KC, but taking the longest time to get the class reduction, since you don't put another pet through until the first one graduates.... 275 days + 275 days + 275 days + 275 days to get the max reduction.

Actually, you don't have to take all 4 pets through to the very end (I'm assuming we're talking 4 pets in the same class?). You can stagger them so that each one after the 1st gets to take advantage of each of the reductions. It's still expensive but there are some ways to save a little KC.

Ex. If you're lucky enough to have all 4 pets at the exact same # classes to the start of level 10, you would stop pet #4 with 31 classes left to go, pet #3 with 21 classes left to go and pet #2 with 11 classes left to go while pet #1 finishes. Each pet gets the 10 class reduction and advances that way. They do have to each then complete one class to finish the level.

It's a little more complicated if they're staggered due to class failures to just because you've started other pets at different times. I found it best to leave pets at the end of a level if another pet was getting ready to finish level 10 so the pet not yet finished could take advantage of the reductions from both the level they're on and the one they're moving on to.

Ex. If pet #2 is at the end of level 9 while pet #1 near the end of level 10, leave pet #2 with 1 class left until pet #1 finishes. Level 10 is now reduced by 10 classes and when you do the last class in level 9, the 9 class reduction for that level will be credited to level 10. In order for this to work though, you have to have gotten down to 1 left in level 9 before pet #1 finished level 10 and the reductions take place.

So yeah, like likmfurry says it's much faster to do multiple pets than one pet at a time. It really depends if time or KC is more important to you.

Sorry! I had a feeling I might mess that up. If it makes you feel any better, I had to make a chart at one point!

It kind of all depends on where each pet is as the 1st pet is nearing the end of level 10.

Are they way far behind or close together?

If they're all 4 really close together, you want to take them all into level 10, but stop each as described in my 1st example above, that way you're not doing a whole bunch of extra classes and you'll get to take advantage of the reductions at least a little bit.

If they're all spread out, then stop them as they get to the end of whatever level they're closest to finishing when the 1st pet finishes level 10. You do have to do a little math to figure out where each pet will be when a pet finishes level 10. It will tell you where/when to hold pets back.

Ex. If your pet #1 is 6 away from the end of level 10 but your pet #2 is 3 away from finishing Level 9, then stop pet #2 with 1 class left and wait for pet #1 to finish. Same with pets #3 and #4, where ever they may be. If they're close to the end of any level and a pet is almost done with level 10, then I find it best to just wait it out so you can take advantage of the reduction on the level they're currently doing and the level they're moving on to.

This does depend on how many classes are left in level 10. I never held a later pet back if the level 10 pet had a ton of classes left. It was just a waste of time for me. IOW, if your level 10 pet just started level 10 and your other 3 pets are almost done with level 9, I wouldn't hold them back unless you don't care about the delay. This is the fastest option, not the cheapest.

Can you give any specific #s about where any of your pets are, by chance?

My pets are all over the place. Only intelligence is about to complete level 10 so I will use it as an example.

Pet 1 level 10 with 7 classes to go
Pet 2 level 7 with 5 to go
Pet 3 level 5 with 7 to go
pet 4 level 5 with 24 to go
