I have like 38 days left to graduate cooking and like 11 with the grooming. I physically cannot do level 10 on my computer because it runs slower most of the time, so I just have my boyfriend do it on his new computer. I mean on mine I'll fail it and run out of time, he can do the class on his computer and have like 70 seconds left, which tells you just how big a difference computer speed can make for this course.

On level 10 of weight lifting: my hunger level dropped right when I was supposed to click the bottom target. My controls became unresponsive and I missed the target. After that, every time I hit the bottom target, the programming said I missed the target. I flunked the class because somehow, I was unable to hit the bottom target after my pet's hunger went down. I have had my pet's hunger go down before when I was lifting the weights, before getting to a target, and this did not happen to me. I guess I was special today! LOL!

If I am extremely luck (which rarely happens) the class will go smoothly and I can pass it. When it is choppy, my controls somehow get out of synch with what I am seeing on the screen and I fail. This is really bothering me! Even on one of the fast computers on a lower level, sometimes the class is choppy. I am wondering if maybe it is Webkinz that is making it choppy (and not my computer(s))? Any thoughts?
I can't use the eveTV as iamnotanumber suggested because it only appears to run on a mac.

I can't use the eveTV as iamnotanumber suggested because it only appears to run on a mac. Last night I ran Camstudio (open source freeware), this slowed down my machine enough and allowed me to get to the double hurdles. This is almost twice as far as anything else I have tried. Will be trying this for strength as well.
I suspect it is purely a matter of practice and tweaking the capture rate of camstudio before I actually pass but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Wallace failed two days ago so I am a little behind schedule but I am so close I am not letting it bother me.
I sounds like Twinz is on the right course. I struggled for two months before I found this site and then it took another month to figure out the right way to slow my machine and practice to pass level 9. But look where I am now and I never tutored once. __________________ This pizza is a symphony of flavor! Note I say classes now instead of days. After I updated my system the timing on the jumps has changed slightly so I have failed twice this week but WHO CARES. 2 2 2 2 WHOO HOO __________________ This pizza is a symphony of flavor! | | | 04-10-2009, 09:56 AM | #69 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 1,336 | Re: Level 10 Academy Classes Originally Posted by iamnotanumber Two Two Two!!! My level 10 pet still has 21 classes to pass... and in another day one more pet will enter Level 10 too. But when Pet #1 completes it, with a minimum of fails, Pet #2 will be 30 classes into Level 10- then will get the class reduction... and be down to 20 classes instantly!
A few months ago I was thinking I would never pass Level 10 once... here's to not giving up- it still isn't really any easier, and I still hate doing this class.... but I will prevail Last edited by likmfurry; 04-10-2009 at 10:01 AM.. | | | 04-13-2009, 01:50 PM | #70 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 215 | Re: Level 10 Academy Classes Hooray!!! I can hardly believe it. I was so excited on Sunday I CHOKED!!!
But this morning was Wallace's big day. He sailed over that last hurdle and reached the finish line. What a great relief. __________________ This pizza is a symphony of flavor! | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
