Have problems entering the Stadium for Competitions? Here's the answer!

I've been searching high and low throughout Webkinz Insider as well as on the Internet to try to figure out what I was doing wrong and why I couldn't enter the competitions at Webkinz Stadium. I finally found the answer last night!

Thanks to SnowCrystal's wonderful advice below...

I have never been able to do it until just now! I would go at the time listed but would always get the "event not in entry stage" message. I tried the time listed, half hour before, etc. I would change the time on my clock to match KT, but wouldn't change my TIMEZONE!!! That is the key!!!

Kids, before changing your time zone, be sure to check with your parents to make sure it is OK. I also use my PC as my DVR (Digital Video Recorder) to record shows on TV so I need to change the timezone back before any scheduled recordings or they will be off. Otherwise if you don't have any time-sensitive issues you should be OK leaving the time at EST.

So in order to enter, change the TIME ZONE to EST (GMT -05:00) on your PC clock, go at the time LISTED in the schedule (i.e., if it says 12:00 on the schedule, go at 12:00 - NOT 12:30 or 11:30). Within a few seconds of the hour changing the "Enter Pet" button should light up and you should be able to enter.

I was just a tad too late to enter the cooking competition, but was FINALLY able to view it! How exciting. And I just entered my Pink Poodle "Mary Kay" into the beauty pageaent - entry #13 -- my lucky number

To change your time zone on your PC (don't have a Mac so can't help there), double-click the clock in the lower right corner of your screen (or wherever your task bar is docked). OH WOW!!! I just realized that it is a PRO competition I entered!!!!! Wahoooo!!! I just passed level 5 on style this morning right before entering Wish me luck!

If I can figure our where my clock is on my computer (because I am computer illliterate) I will have to try this. Maybe I can enter competitions then. I have tried for months but can never get in at all.

Yeah! I tried your suggestion of switching to KinzTime on my computer and it worked great. Just a short while later I entered a beauty pageant and just now I entered a cooking contest. This is the first time I have ever been able to do anything on the Stadium. I am thrilled!

I'm glad I was able to help I know the feeling and the frustration of not being able to enter no matter what time you try, etc. Good luck! Now we just have to get ourselves WINNING some of those competitions we are able to enter now

I think your trick is great. But the bottom line is that Ganz should not force people to change time zones in order to play a part of their website. It is ridiculous with all the supposed maintenance they do that none of their glitches get fixed.

I agree patheard, but in the meantime, we have to limp through... The programming needs to be fixed, but for now at least we can get in the stadium. I haven't been able to get in since they brought the stadium in until now... I changed the TIME on my clock, but not the ZONE... Frustrating!!! But it was even MORE frustrating searching for an answer and not being able to find it! I KNEW someone on here had to know. And I was right. Finally found it after months of searching ???

I read that same advice some time ago, and reset my time zone. Since then I've been able to enter, and a few days ago I won a Pro Beauty contest!!! I got a neat trophy and a pile of KC. So thank you to whoever posted that advice originally.

Thanks for that information, I had been trying to go on competittions and getting the same result and my horse is a level 5. no wonder lol thanks again.

Today is a bad day for the stadium. I don't think anyone was able to enter today (not sure if it will be the same for the 9:30pm competition).
